Ok, I am on my way out of here in about 20 mins to continue my job search. I am going by autozone, radioshack, and eckerd. They are all hiring, but I would imagine the first two are looking for someone with knowledge of mechanics/technology...please pray that they are willing to hire me based on my willingness to learn.

Eckerd is hiring pharmacy tech's, but not in my area. I am praying they will hire me and train me here locally. I hear training lasts 6 weeks. Maybe by the time I get trained I will have a car and can drive to another store. All of these places are in walking distance.

I am believing God for a job. My power is due to be disconnected on Tuesday, and I have not got enough to keep it on. I need a job today. I would like one that will provide me with a check SOON. I need food, too.

Thank you for your prayers as I go out today and get my job.

GOD KNOWS WHAT I NEED. I AM STRIVING, FIRST OF ALL FOR HIS KINGDOM AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. I KNOW HE WILL PROVIDE!

Lord God, give Tealena FAVOUR! Proverbs 14:9 says the upright have favour, and we claim that for Talena. Please give her favour at one of these places to be hired. And please let her get money right away, however you can provide it, so she can meet the power bill. Lord, she is at the Red Sea, so stretch forth Your hand, as her High Priest, and part the waters! We are SO believing for a miracle that You gwet all the praise and glory!!! JeriRose

I just got back...

was shot down at Autozone, no biggie. I did not like the manager's attitide anyway.

Eckerd, not much of a response there, but am holding out hope.

Radioshack...the manager Mike Bevington seemed to like me. After looking over my application he even wanted to talk to me. He was very nice, and he even knew a friend of mine that I had put down as a reference. (he did not know him personally, but knew of him) My friend and his family are upstanding, so I KNOW that was not a bad thing.

He is taking applications up until tomorrow. And I should know something on Wednesday. Please pray that a) my phone will stay on long enough for me to get his call, b) that my references are EXCELLENT and c) my power will stay on long enough to get a paycheck.

I know this is going to work out, I have faith.
