Please pray for my family. My husband needs salvation. He was raised in a Catholic home and does not believe that we need to accept Christ as our saviour.

Please also pray for my mother. She is a Christian, but a "carnal Christian", I feel. She creates division and crisis in our lives and is very controlling. She has sued me for custody of my children in the past. She has approached several of my friends and neighbors to call CPS on us to take my children away. She has tried to have my children call me by my first name and call her "mom". She has even tried to nurse my first son when he was a baby.

I feel she is angry at me for leaving with my father when they divorced and now she is trying to "get even" by creating division between me and my children, or even trying to take them from me. This last time of several times she has called CPS on me, they did remove my five children from the home for "parental unsupervision" when four of the children were in the front driveway in my car and I was in the house with another one of my children. It has been a gut-wrenching experience of pain to not have them with me. Their ages are 10, 8, 3, 2, and 10 months. They have been gone since June 10, 2003. My mother has them (just what she wanted, I believe) since I opted for them not to go into foster care. My mother has a lot of money and influence in the system and I am very scared and intimidated by this whole process.

My mother has camped outside of my house for hours, spread vicious lies about me and my husband, and told our children horrible things about us. It is very confusing to them and hurtful to us. Please pray that God's will be done in our relationship and that our family may reunite as soon as God wills.

We love our children dearly and would just like to raise them without all this continual threat of strife.

Thanks again. I have to give a praise report for my husband. Things seem to be getting better and better. However, I'd hope for all you pray warriors to keep on praying for the CPS case is going well, but the children are growing weary. With my mother's negative influence and talking badly about me, they are growing very faint at heart. Their names are Mason, Luke, Max, Maridon and J.D.. They really need your prayers.

Keep on. Stand firm and please help me!

May God hand you his powerfull hand to help you get out of this situation sain and healthy. I pray that he will hep you and your family get together soon and guide you to take care of them properly so nobody can do anything wrong to you and your family. Please God give the grandmother light and wisdom to leave this family at peace. God help them as you know better. AMEN

Thank you so very much for your prayer. I stand in agreement with you and pray especially for my my mom, the grandmother. I feel if our relationship becomes all God intended, things will be wonderful. I know it's the plans of the enemy to keep strife and division in our lives to keep us from living in peace and harmony that God has in store fo us.

Dear Lord I lift this family to you and I pray in agreement with these other people. I pray for these children that they can break away from the evil lies that they are hearing about their parents. Keep them under your wing. You are a mighty and graceful God. Shine your light on this Grandmother and deliver her from her evil ways. Bring this family back together where they belong. I pray this in your name. Amen

Thank you all for your prayers. This is my praise report:

My husband has recently become friends with a Christian. He is a very good influence, and I'm praying he'll be an instrument in helping lead my husband to Christ.

More good news. The community seems to becoming more aware, at least those closely involved, of my mother's true intentions and bitterness towards me. It looks as if we'll probably have my children back at home this November instead of January, 2004. Glory be to God!

Please pray for the couselors, caseworkers, attorneys, and ad litems, and especially my mother. My concern is that when we do get them back, she'll be especially determined to keep on pursuing their removal again, by whatever means, and/or pushing her way back into our lives, creating more chaos and strife.

Lord Jesus, send the Holy Spirit to this mother of Shelly's to convict her of what she is doing and to guide her to You. Lord bless this family and help her husband to come to know You as his savior.
