Seek God's HANDS...blessing, power, miracles, protection
Seek God's HEART...love, acceptance, belonging, compassion
Seek God's FACE...relationship, intimacy
...which do we most often seek? on our terms or His? Why?
Isn't it a defilement of relationship to primarily seek hands (provision) or heart (emotion) without seeking relationship (face)?
2 Chronicles 7
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face , and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Psalm 27
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face ; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.
He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face , O God of Jacob. (Psalm 24:4-6)
Ex 33:18-20 18 And he said, "Please, show me Your glory." 19 Then He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." 20 But He said, "You cannot see My face ; for no man shall see Me, and live."
All the scripture above have results when seeking only Jesus face, notice there is nothing in these scriptures that say seek hand but we are to seek his face alone and when we do he will heal us and are lives.
There is also a dying to the flesh in the process, so those holding onto the flesh and old ways of praying from the flesh instead of being lead by the Holy Spirit.. Read Exodus 33: 20 what does it say NO ONE can see his face and live meaning we must die daily to how we do things and how we live and pray, for those who are willing to see results in there lives the first key is to die daily to the flesh, this is a requirement not some theory, while we are seeking his face something happens we are dying in the midst of seeking his face and are old ways are perishing behind us as we seek to go forward to see his face alone nothing else..
So those who have been seeking his hand stop, those who keep saying I sense the Holy Spirit saying pray for your husband STOP hes not saying that he is in line with his word he has already spoken he is saying to your heart seek his face in prayer alone nothing else and then he will move through you to pray for whom he wants to pray for while seeking his face and during that process of seeking his face you will begin to die your old self and will begin to take on your newself in Christ which is why so many people dont want to seek his face there is a hefty price so people keep praying there old ways from there emotions thinking its the Holy Spirit and then wonder why God is not doing anything in there lives.....Let us not put prayer in this order: 1. Hand, 2. Heart, 3. Face Let us put them in this order: 1. Face, 2. Heart, 3 Hand when we do only will we see God mightly in are lives its a fact and is biblical not done how we want it done... So repent for seeking his hand and praying how you have been wanting it all done instead of his for he says to seek his face and in the process of seeking his face let your old man die and then he will heal you and your land...

Thank you Chris that is how God healed my marriage I wasn't even talking to him when he started sending me letters how the chaplain was talking to him about how God would have us behave and how God wanted us to stay together. So yes I was not praying for him I myself was seeking God for my life and God restored after I prayed for myself and my life in him. Amen
