When I got up at 3am to pray and praise God for the Marriage Vigil, I was surprised to only see nine couples requesting prayer. Is the Vigil that you started different than the one that Shawn has put together for our board? I was praying on Shawn's page. I just wondered...

We need people to pray. The vigil has only a few time slots filled. We need to ensure that we are praying the entire time. Please consider signing up and praying for this important vigil.

Oops !
I hope i didnt do anything wrong here...i was under the impression that the Vigil was for the List we made for the previous vigils !
Actually i havent seen the nine couples....i'll go and look , and add them to the list. Hope that's the intention here and im not treading on anyone's toes......

Shawn has it set up to where you can click on a button that takes you to each prayer request separately and you can pray for a few minutes about each request, then click on to the next one. And the site reminds you when you need to start praying. It give you an icon that you click on and it takes you directly to the requests. It is pretty interesting. Shawn's thread says that he set it up to make things easier for us and so that it makes it easier on the server.
I will make sure that I pray for both lists in the morning...
Thanks, Carrie-Ann, and I do not want you to think that I ignored you purposely or your vigil. I thought that yours and Shawn's were one in the same.

No no !!! i havent got a vigil going Jim...i think the confusion is all on my part ! I'm the one who is sorry ! 
Maybe a lot of the couples who are on the Prayer List just assumed that they would be prayed for in Shawn's Vigil....i thought that the whole point of having a list was to be able to pray for it ! 
As for me, i didnt realise that it was the intention to sign up again....oops ! 
I get easily confused as you probably realise by now !

Carrie Ann - I just finished praying for the individuals on Shawn's list as well as your list. I think the important thing is to keep these marriages lifted up the entire time. I have a feeling that people are not aware of the vigil that is going on because there are alot of slots that are not filled. Can you get the word out so we the prayers can keep going up? I'm praying that God will hear and answer our prayers for the restoration of our marriages this weekend. Thanks Carrie Ann. God Bless!!!! Vicky
