A Note for President Regan's Family

We are so sorry. It's hard to understand the why's. At times we think it's wise to not ask why when we don't understand. It's better to say, "OK, how are we going to make it from here," and then put our lives completely in the hands of a merciful and loving God.
God's wisdom and ways are so much higher than ours. If we really believe that He is good, then we can accept these things knowing that He is greater than evil and really uses all things to work together for the good because we love Him and are called according to His purpose.
There's so much I don't understand. But I find peace in knowing that my Heavenly Father does understand and He's in control.
David's son was sick and died. David fasted, prayed, humbled himself and asked God to heal his child. Yet, when the child died, David got up, washed his face, and worshiped the Lord. He went on with life. He had done all he could do and accepted God's wisdom to be supreme. I believe David said "my son can not be with me but one day I will be with him.
Amen.
