I got this in email and am posting it here:
1. SUMMER YOUTH MINISTRIES
Many students are latch key children, having no one at home to attend
to their needs. Often the children will attend an after school program,
but in the summer they often take to the streets or care for themselves.
There are several ministries in Omaha in place with the desire to reach out
to these students spiritually as well as practically.
Pray that those who serve as ministers to children in this way will be
blessed with energy and a new creativity as they plan programming and
spend time with the children.
Pray for finances to be adequately available.
Pray that parents will seek these program for their children and that
the children will be exited to learn about the Lord in these places.
2. MARRIAGES IN THE METRO
There is a continuing need to pray for marriages to stop the breakup of
the family.
Pray that God would clear the minds of those who are suffering in the
marriage.
Pray for financial choices so that added pressure isn't
coming against the unity of a couple.
Pray for children who are in the
family, that they will be protected from the frustration that comes from
fighting parents.
Pray that God would provide divine appointments for those who feel hopeless in their marriage with a couple that can lead them to
Christ and bring them encouragement.
3. SAFETY IN AREA PARKS AND POOLS
Many head for the pools on hot days, and the city parks are full of
families and individuals who are looking for outdoor entertainment.
Pray that God will protect our area parks and pools.
Pray for
well-trained lifeguards to be diligent in their jobs, and that there would be no
incidents of injury or drowning.
Pray that our parks will be a place of recreation and that those who mean to bring lewd or illegal activity into these areas will be discovered before their plans come to fruition.

Billiefan - Hmmm....Looks like we've got quite a prayer warrior on this Board.
Will certainly pray as requested.
