Do we really have a free will after all?
I mean God gives us free will, but when we chose against him we have to go to hell.Doesn't this mean that it's not really free will anymore cause you know you have to suffer from not choosing God? Imagine everybody would go to heaven even atheists, would you still be a christian and bother with rules or would you do what you wanna do? I'm not asking this to be a smart butt or to attack God, but as soon as something has consequences it's not free.

its still free will.....you still have the right to choose to do things gods way and go to heaven or satans way and go to hell........besides if your were an atheist you wouldnt beleive in hell anyway so it wouldnt scare you into doing right....free will can go either way....the consenquences come after the free will has been acted upon....thats the way i see it anyhow

not a bad answer

another thought too.........take a parent with a child.....a parent tells that child not to touch the stove...it will burn you...the parent turns his back...the child (having the free will to do so)touches the stove and gets burned....the parent knew the consenquences...he didnt want his child to feel that pain...thats why the warning was there.....God is our parent...

But why didn't the parent either remove the stove or remove the child from the stove to protect it?

the stove things just my stupid analogy....are you really asking why god doesnt do away with hell and satan.....well hell is there for satan and his followers..and satans days of freedom are coming to an end.....but evil is like a cancer and all of it must be removed (satans followers)...look at this time of free will as the testing of our hearts(not our flesh)to see the good and evil
