I've only read 2 books so far. Do other people like them? What do you think of their world view, plot, etc.?

What plot?
My husband loves them and has read every one.
I find them simplistic and boring. I haven't bothered to read more that the first 2. Dull. Un-interesting. If the characters had more character it might help but I doubt it, it does no good to flagilate a deceased equine.
We have been married 31 years and we know that we do not always have to agree on everything so don't panic, he knows my opinion of them.

I wish I could see the movie, but my dvd player won't play dvds from America.

I really enjoyed the series, and I have seen alittle bit of the movies, but I enjoyed reading the books the best, truth or fiction, time will tell.

I loved every one of them! Of course, the series is fiction based on scripture but it is something to see Revelations played out in the times we live in today. I read "Left Behind - The kids series" to my 12 and 10 year olds and they really have served as inspiration to cross reference with the bible and provoke lots of discussion.

Several of the books, if not all, have over 1 million copies sold per book - not counting videos. People read them in airports, restaurants, etc. In other words, places some people probably won't read the Bible. It opened up discussions, made some aware of upcoming events, etc.
In relationship to you not liking them, it's a personal choice. My husband and I don't always read the same things either.
I'm very thankful for the Left Behind series.

I have read them and enjoyed them. Though I found some of the a little boring in places, they were still thought provoking and caused me to search the Scriptures more for end time prophecy.
