Prayer of protection for our President right now....

As the handover of Iraq approaches and President Bush is traveling this weekend, I feel more than ever to pray for the protection of our president. I really feel the Lord impressing it upon us prayer warriors here to storm the heavenlies and pray a hedge of protection around our president during this time. Again, I am constantly praying for anyone who is in office, as we should uphold our leaders in prayer praying for discernment and guidance. However, again, I feel just this desire that it is a MUST over the next few days. If you so feel led, please join me in upholding the president and his family during this time he is abroad.
Father, I come before You and thank You for the freedom we enjoy here in the United States. During this time, as things escalate in Iraq with the handover in Iraq, Lord I just lift up President Bush and his family to you. I pray a hedge of protection around them. May he be protected and avoid any harm by those who are waging a holy war, a jihad, against the Western world. I know that President Bush looks to You for guidance, Lord may Your wisdom and discernment continue to be poured out upon him. Thank You, Lord and I praise Your holy holy name. I pray this all in Your name, Amen

Father, I come beside Shalu and stand in the gap for President Bush and the countries of Iraq and the United States of America.
Jesus keep Your hand firmly on the situation of the hand over in Iraq. Keep Your hand firmly over the life of George W Bush as he and his party travel into the heart of this strom, let him not be afraid to get out of the boat and walk with You. Calm this storm of hate for us and forgive us for having little faith in Your ability to get us to the other side of the sea.
Holy Spirit I free You to work in the lives of the Leaders of both countries and those that lead the other nations that harbor hate and contempt for God and the Salvation available through Jesus. Send Angels to contend with the princes of the regions that are oppressed with the hate of islam and bring them a message of hope, a message of freedom, a message of deliverance, a message of Salvation, a message of healing for their land as they humble themselves and pray to the Lord God Almighty.
Come Lord in the power of Your Authority to the hearts and lives of the people who so desperately need You. AMEN!

Father, we pray for the President. Lord, let him seek you with all his heart, and give him your divine guidance, and courage and strength to do the job you have given him to do. Lord, our country is in such need. Make him a new green shoot coming forth for your Kingdom, which will grow to be a magnificent glory, shade in time of fiery heat, and peace in time of trouble. Let him speak your truth, and call forth the "gap standers" of our world to pray and intercede for him.
Lord, I pray that you will send legions of angels to provide protection from attacks against him. We pray that unjust evil speaking concerning him will be as the bird that never lights upon him. We condem every tongue that speaks judgement against him, and we loose your Holy Spirit to speak the Truth of you Kingdom through him. Give him Wisdom, as you gave Soloman wisdom, and let him be a man after your own heart!
Father, Bless America through him. Show him what to do, and how to do it. Show him who his enemies are and give him faithful and trustworthy friends and workers. Lord, Let this be a nation be a nation that loves you and follows your precepts and shares your love with the whole world. Lord, we ask these things in the Name of Jesus, Lord of Lord and King of Kings.
