Don't Mess With Grandma:

This is a true story ...

An elderly Florida lady did her shopping, and upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle. She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at the top of her voice, "I have a gun, and I know how to use it!

Get out of the car!" the four men didn't wait for a second
invitation. They got out and ran like mad.

The lady, somewhat shaken, then
proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into driver's seat. She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition.

She tried and
tried, and then it dawned on her why.

A few minutes later, she found her own car
parked four or five spaces farther down.
She loaded her bags into the car and drove

to the Police station..

The sergeant to whom she told the story

couldn't stop laughing. He pointed to the
other end of the counter, where four pale men were reporting a
car jacking by a mad, elderly woman described as white, less than
five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun.

No charges were filed.

ROFL!!! hahaha!!! Thats too funny!!! Reminds me of the time our family got into the wrong car many years ago in 1977. We had just got finished with church services and walked to our brown buick, My mom, dad; me and three sisters piled in the car. My dad put his key in the ignition and had all kinds of trouble getting it to turn. We were perplexed. Then we started noticing the car looked awfully clean inside,(Too clean) My little sister who was five at the time announced gleefully "Daddy, Look!! "Someone cleaned our car!!" "It looks nice!!!" This is when it dawned on all of us, we were in the wrong car!!! With sinking feelings in the pit of our stomachs we all scrambled out as fast as we possibly could, (a bit red faced Im sure) and quickly located our car!!! Inside we found the mess we were accustomed to, and were very relieved that no one had seen us get into the other car!!! LOL

My husband always says that truth is stranger than fiction. That was an absolutely hilarious story. You have to wonder how the four men have relayed it in their story telling.
God Bless Jerry, and thank you for your faithful service to the Lord and to his people the church.
Happy July 4th U S A,

My pickup is full of cherries from Yakima. We thought it would be fun to go get them to sell.
It was fun, but we didn't sell a lot.
I was really feeling bad about my business sense, when I came home. Then I opened up my email and I felt like my family cares about me, Jerry. What a comfort to recieve that tonight!
Happy fourth to everyone. And happy sixth and seventh, too. Tomorrow everyone who shows up at Parkland will recieve the rewards of our efforts. I am bringing free cherries and apricots to you. Love, Sandy

That was great!

My mom did almost the same thing, but without the gun! God help us if she had one!!!

She was at the gas station and walked to her car only to find 2 men in it, going through the center console.

She started screaming at them to get pit of her car.....

Then she looked over and saw hers setting the next station over.....

Both car were a sapphire blue 1990 Chevy Caprice. And after 18 hours of work and driving, she was a *bit* confused LOL

I came to know your website through a situation that was not funny at all. Because of a gun. SInce then I can't watch a program with a gun, talk about guns, look at guns etc. I know that is Satan who continues to attack me with this negative thoughts.

Thank you so much for helping me to laugh at this gun story. It was very funny and so innocent. Thanks for the gift of clarity.

P.S. Are there any revivals coming up in Orlando Florida? How about youth or Marriage conferences?

I'm sitting at my desk at work, and it's been a hectic morning answering calls for so many people are out sick and/or on vacation, and I could really use a lift. This story did it. I laughed and laughed; then I sent it out to my co-workers so they could laugh, too. How incredibly funny.

Just finished celebrating Independence Day and it was wonderful and I do bless God for being able to live in a nation such as ours. Blessings to all of you down in Parkland! Even amid the celebrations there was a touch of sadness as the enemy has already been hard at work trying to discourage so many I know. My older sis, Mary (Kitty, as we all call her) was just diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. My younger sister, Sheri, was diagnosed with MS just over a year ago. As autoimmune diseases seem to run in my family and I have struggled with my own health, I sure could use some prayers of support right now. I asked God a long time ago to do whatever it takes to bring my family to him. Both these sisters asked the Lord into their hearts as children, though haven't lived for him since. My new church is a church plant, really a missions outpost in Burlington and we will need to find a new place to meet with a month or so. In the natural, there's no way--no locations available or the finaances, but with God we know all things are possible. Please pray for Pastor Kevin Bell, wife Roxanne and the congregation of Burlington Church. As for me; One thing I do know Jerry, is Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world!" I will keep on, keeping on as long as he can use my life to bring himself glory. Though the way be hard and full of pain, I cannot help but seek His gain! You taught me that up in Mount Vernon. I will never forget or stop praying for total fruitfulness for your ministry and the divine protection of you and your family. You have blessed so many--may we, the recipients of those prayers and ministry, always hold you up in prayer. --your sister in Christ, Anita Jackson

We really enjoyed this happy July 4th message. Thank you so much. If I knew this woman, I would walk down the street holding her hand because I think I know exactly how she feels.
