Help me pray to make the right decision

I've been away from the forum for a while. In this time I have left my spouse. After 16 years, we are separated, we have been trying to work things out, but his problem is the bottle. I pray daily to give him strength so he can recover from alcohol, to no avail. Now his work will be sending him to Kuwait to help in the rebuilding of the airport and radar/communications systems. He will be gone for one year. I need to know if it is to late, is there hope for us? Somebody help me pray, I need all the help I can get to help him open his eyes.
Please, please, please help me.

Dear Lord,

I pray you will help this wife and grant her wisdom on what to do.

It is so hard living with people who drink and sometimes it can be unbearable.

Also, Satan can use it to make lives miserable.

Please convict the husband and let him be a Christian.

Bless this family, Lord, and help them find and do your will.
