Help my marriage

My wife and I are going through a divorce because of my being controlling, demanding, and abusive. I am seeking counseling and have prayed to God continuously. He came to me and has entered my life and I ask that my prayers for forgiveness and an opportunity to show my wife I am changing and seeking the help of counseling and God is from my heart and not just to get her back without changing. I really am trying and I love her more than anything. Thank you.
