New Brise w/ 'Ex-Boyfriend'....UPDATE

Hi,

'Deep End!' posting Update....

I want to take a minute to touch base with those of you who are praying for me and my wife Sara and the restoration of our relationship with the Lord (Being FIRST in our lives!) and reconcilliation of our new marriage.

Thank you for your emails, kindness, prayers and wonderful words of support and encouragement!

I am doing better. The good Lord has been so faithful and merciful as He has been my strength and sufficiency every day!!!! I still have days and quite a few nights that are really tough. I miss my beautiful Bride and the love that we so briefly shared. It stinks that we were only married 2 months before she left. I DO know that God is teaching me in all this and I am thankful for His love and lessons of life.

I remain VERY hopeful and have been encouraged from you all and the blessings and promises of our Heavenly Father. I know that God is working things out wonderfully in both of our lives and marriage for His praise and Glory.

I continue to pray that the Lord would transform me into the Christian husband and spiritual leader of our humble home. I desire to be transformed in such a way that I always respond in patience and love, being Christ-like in my words and actions when I talk to Sara and when the Lord God brings the two of us together again!

I spoke with Sara for just a couple of minutes the other day. It was so short, but I can sense the 'softening' that the Holy Spirit is bringing about in her! PRAISE THE LORD! She still won't discuss the marriage (I'm not going to press her) or the things that she is doing, but did hear me out as I told her how much I love her, miss her,respect her, forgive her and am praying for her and family and friends every day. She was very silent...which is good as this is when I know that Sara is really thinking about all of this and being affected/convicted by the Holy Spirit!!!

I continue to pray and believe that Sara's spending spree, bar-scene, and relationships with her 'Ex'(it's going to crumble!) and unbelievers in her life will lose the 'spark' and appeal to her. Sara used to share with me how empty these things always left her! I believe that God is showing her how 'things' will NEVER satisfy ones needs that only He can quench! The Lords healing of her heart and mind is what I pray!!!

Our prayers are being heard and being answered by our Heavenly Father! I just know without a doubt that GREAT things are right around the corner!!! God gives me such a peace and comfort when I pray and consider all of this! Praise His Holy name!

I thank you wonderful friends in Christ for all that you are doing, and have done. Your prayers are appreciated and loved, regarding me and my beloved Sara!
