My husband immigrated to America on a fiancee visa. He has the last of the three interviews needed for that VISA that must be done I believe by the middle of August. (He did the first one before moving here, the second was done after we married.)

From what I understand, if he doesn't go to this interview he will lose his immigration status and will not be allowed back into the country.

Even before he abandoned me, I would never have moved to his country. I don't speak the language and have a learning disability where learning languages is next to impossible. But now, I couldn't because I would not trust him to not abandon me in a strange country where I don't know the language and can't earn a living.

So, he must return in time for the interview. I am praying all day. Literally all day. I can hardly do anything else. I know that when he returns that we have a lot of work to do to reconcile. But there is no chance at all for this unless he returns.

I am asking for prayers that my husband contact me (I have not heard from him since 6-1 when he said in "a month and a half I will be free and can return.") I am praying that he will return.

And I am praying that God will help me to show my husband mercy as God shows me mercy daily. I am so very angry with my husband. I want the grace to be kind to him and give him a chance to explain himself without my judgement and fury.

I have sought out additional counsel on this situation and the Priest I spoke to thinks that my husband married me on false pretenses and says that I have been "conned" and that the marriage is not valid. This just breaks my heart. I don't want to believe this. But a part of me knows that the Priest may be right. Please pray for me. Pray that no matter what I can endure.

Father, You know the needs and the situation here. I ask that You would move in Your Mercy on behalf of this couple. Restore and reconcile them dear Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

You continue to be in my prayers, too, and always have been. No matter what happens in your life, remember to praise God. He is the only one that can work miracles!!! Sometimes that is hard to hear, but so true...
