Pray Josh will put God first

Please pray for my son Josh. Please pray he will have a desire for God's word. He is a nice guy but right now it seems he just likes to sit in front of the computer. He will join in family devotionals but doesn't seem to get into God's word on his own. He also has a bit of a selfish streak. Please say a pray for him today. Thank you lots

Jesus, I pray for Josh that you would fill him with a hunger for Jesus. Jesus give him a desire to know you fully. Lord I pray protection over Josh that he not be involved with any pornography or improper chat lines on the internet. I pray for him to become secure in himself as a christian and that he be filled with compassion for others. Amen

First do you have filters that block Porn sites from entering your home? You can't be too careful with the precious commodity of our children. Second have you thought about giving him homework assignments were he can teach or share about something that he finds on the internet at family devotionals. It can be Josh's 15 minute segment. There are virtual tours of the holy land, research on a bible figure; research on the horn blown to call people to worship,any number of things to include him. It doesn't matter if its the bible in book form or on the computer, as long as he is getting God's Word. Let him use the computer to participate and gather the family around it. I bet he will really shine and will be finding ways to explore the Lord on it as he prepares for his weekly segment. God Bless!
