Well... today, in youth group, there was an interesting story one girl (Grace) told about how she was talking with an old, bitter, Jewish man on the plane next to her (She was in a program called YWAM ministries to Switzerland)... and he had all this hatred for God, hatred for the world; his family had suffered the holocaust, so he had millions of questions regarding God's character, etc. All she could do was to say how she was too young to even comprehend his suffering, etc., but that it is NOT God's fault and that God, too, suffered what he suffered, and felt the pain that he has felt. And then, she said, he had tears in his eyes.

So I thought that was quite nice.

That is indeed true, Phantasmagoria. I believe Jesus suffered everything that is possible for a human to suffer. Because Jesus was 100% God and yet 100% man it is possible to say that God has "suffered". 3 in 1, you know. The Trinity.

This is really sad.

3 in 1?
So you think Jesus suffered 3 times more or what?
I think Jesus suffered much more than we can imagine. We have no clue what was going on in the spiritual realm when he was on the cross and how Jesus' spirit was tormented.

Yes Jesus suffered.
He suffered for you and me.
He was tempted in all points just like you and me
He understands you and me.

I think 3 in 1 is referring to the trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Yes, of course.... Jesus probably suffered a WHOLE bunch more than we could possibly *imagine* or *dream of*. And that includes how he suffered exactly what we have suffered...by that whole cross thing.
