pls pray for the street children center

dear friends of Christ, pls. pray the Lord God's Hand upon these children that they will stop sniffing glue, stop stealing and that a good future might b secured for them, pls pray the Lord God in order to restore relationships at the shelter and with the people managing it in order that we can edify and upbuilt - not break down in each othe, I pray for the Fire of God to descend, thank you my loving father God, amen and amen and amen!

Heavenly Father,

I ask Your favor on this center for street children. May these kids feel Your love there so strongly that they flock to this facility and give their hearts to You. Please bless them with all the resources needed to help these kids. Your word in Jeremiah says that You have plans for us, a future and a hope, not to harm us. I claim the future and hope for all these kids in the name of Jesus Christ! It is Your will that not one shall perish and this center can help save these kids. Thank You for the work You are doing to help this center succeed. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. Amen.

Dear Pastor Jerry, thank you that you prayed, I know that you care, thank you! God Bless You!
The center I'm speaking of is the Atamaleng drop-in centre in Klerksdorp, NW Province South Africa. Actually there are quite a lot of these type of shelters in South Africa for the street children. Most of the children have family, but domestic violence or other problems at home causes them to rather stay on the street/shelter. I visited at this shelter the last couple of days, every day I get glue hide away under their beds, dagga (marijuana) and weapons eg. knives or other metal objects. There is a lot of politics going on around the management of the shelter, which is not benefiting the children , neither their future. On the positive side, donations have come in to help improve the shelter and also to secure that the children can attend school. They are aged from about 6 years - 17 years. There is another shelter in the town of Potchefstroom(40 km or approx 26 miles) which is much larger than this one, with much the same problems.
