I am just wondering but can it be that there are people which get a prophecy from God every day? This seems a bit strange to me. There are prophetic ministries which seem to be getting brand new prophecies every day.... does this seem very credible? Not to me.
These prophecies are all written in direct speech, this means that God himself said exactly what these prophecies say, it's not indirect speech. But very often I have the impression that this kind of style does not fit to God. God never talked like this in the bible, it simply sounds different. In most prophecies God repeats himself over and over again I cannot find God talking like this in the bible.
Also they way these prophecies are written is a bit strange.
Today anybody can put out a prophecy and say that it is from God. Why shall we simply believe everything? I can also take a look at the revelation and then make up a prophecy and people would believe it.
I think being sceptical when it comes to prophecies is not forbidden.

You are correct we cant believe everything we hear to be true from God, this is why you must lean on the Holy Spirit and let him teach you and council you not man..

Sauls experience certainly was dramatic, but it wasnt normal. God spoke to Saul in the earthquake, but more often, He speaks in the still, small voice - 1 Kings 19:11-12.

It all has to do if the person giving the word knows the voice of God and if that person does you will be quickened in your spirit by the Holy Spirit in you, for what that person is hearing is supposed to be coming from the Holy Spirit and not his flesh, so if it is from the Holy Spirit there will be confirmation from the Holy Spirit in you if you are sensative to his promptings.. and you have to line it up with his word... God can use what ever he wishes to speak to a person .. He used a donkey to get a persons attention

2 Peter 2
16But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.

This is used as an example:
So in all that is going on lets let the Holy Spirit and yes his word guide us and confirm in how Gods is speaking to us, just because Jesus is not dressed eligantly in some cases and might appear to us in a different form such as in a humble cloak still doesnt mean we dont listen to him because he is dressed differently, its the same as when he rode in on his donkey do we stop listening to him because we will soon see him riding on a white horse when he comes back because we saw him riding in on a donkey at the The Triumphal Entry, No in all cases discern it and let the Holy Spirit show you if it was or wasnt from him, his seed and character and his word will be behind what is spoken if it is from the Holy Spirit, then from there look at the fruits and see if it comes to pass or if it is giving the correct direction... A true prophet will tell you to seek Jesus and to follow Jesus and point you almost always to the cross..

True prophecy will come out of the relationship you have with Jesus on YES a daily basis, so to some it will not come as a differece to them if the Holy Spirit is speaking to them on a daily basis because they already have a daily minute by minute relationship with him.. But for those who do not have a minute by minute second by second relationship with him this will seem odd and wierd because they are not in that releationship with God and dont understand it.. God Bless..

Then I guess only a few people can understand these prophecies and to the rest of them it simply seems weird....

You have to read all I just wrote and not pick just one thing out I also said you have to listen to the Holy Spirit HE ALONE no one else can help you discern what is real or not...

John 14
26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Luke 12
12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say."

In the last part of what I said before up above this was to the question you asked about how can someone say or prophecy everyday, well if your hearing from the Lord daily and every second why couldnt you then if you are told to speak tell people what he is wanting you to say..

Sure. I simply cannot imagine that God has to give us new instructions every day...

Make this below your intent and mission:

Matthew 16:24-28
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matthew 6
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Well it's kind of hard to follow Jesus and to build up his kingdom when you're sitting at home all day....

Frederik,
I have been home alot this summer, first time in 20 years, and I must say it has been nice. But God can do anything, he sent me people at home thro the phone, who needed counseling, (I am not a counsel), but my Father gave me the words thro the Spirit to counsel these hurting christians. They weren't my words but his. Frederik, we are one with the Lord, we never have to leave our homes, God will sent people in need. Open your heart to the message he is senting you.

I agree with every word the Spirit of God has given you, so far. If you seek Him every day at home, you will find Him every day at home. If you ask for guidance every day, you will receive guidance every day. How serious are you? With all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength do you follow after Him?

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
