URGENT Prayer needed for kids dad, attacked last night, not expected to live

Hello brothers and sisters,
I am seeking fellow intercession from you for my ex husband, the father of my four children, who are very traumatized over this thing. Daniel, my ex, has always been involved in a bad way of life, drinking to excess, drugs, violence. He had gotten better over the years and calmed down some, but still has a problem with alcohol and drugs. He is 49 yrs. old, and we do not know all the details, but last night someone blugedoned him in the head with a blunk object and he is in surgery right now for a subdural hematoma, they said his brain is shoved to one side from it, guess his skull is crushed where hit, but they do not expect him to live, and said if he does, he will never be the same again (which I would rather think that he will live and yes he will never be the same again because God will use this to change his life!). My one daughter is on her way to the hospital now, he is a couple hours away from us, and my pregnant daughter cannot go, she does not have a way, and she is not doing too well, hysterical. My son is stuck in Nebraska and cannot get here either and I am sure not doing too well, he has lost most of the men in his life already and he and his father just fought a few days ago on the phone.

I am asking for your prayers that he pull through this and God use this to change his life, so that my kids can for once have a normal relationship with their dad, and have some good things to remember whenever his time does come, as his liver is not so good either, but God can use this thing to bring him to the Lord, so he will not go to hell and my kids who are Christians do not have to know that, and so on..you know what I mean. I ask God to give Daniel a second chance at life and knowing Him, if only for my kids sake. Daniels change could be the one thing that would turn my drug addict daughters life around, to see him turn his around. God, please use all of this to the good, as your word states You do with all things.

I thank You Father God in advance for the amazing things You are about to do in this situation. I praise Your Holy Name, all glory be unto You, and You only!

Father God, i pray for this man. oh Lord i pray Your will be done, Lord, help Kristies's children as well. Oh Father God, i pray you would save this man, in more ways than one. FAther, you are the maker of miracles, the great healer the great redeemer. Thank you Lord, for this. Thank you for kknowing all, and healing this man. God, i pray YOur will be done, i pray that you aid the doctors and nurses, steady their hands, Lord,work through them, thank you Jesus, amen.

Jesus apply your blood of the cross to this ex- husbands head and heart, and Holy Spirit where this blood of Jesus has been applied begin to manifest your healing anointing on these areas and make him whole in you.. thank you for doing this Jesus..

Father you know this man, you know his heart, you love him no matter what, I believe that..........just be with him, heal him from the inside out Lord. Keep his children safe as they get to him. Open their hearts to understanding and bless each one. Lord turn this into something good, just as I know you can. Open this man's eyes to see you Father, to want to know you, to want to do what is right here on earth. In Jesus Name, I thank you for all you are doing........AMEN.

Mighty Jehovah Rapha, touch this man's body and make him whole again before You. Right now, I pray that Your healing blood flow through every inch of his body. May he be renewed and revived. May his heart open to the wonderful healing that You are doing right now in the spirit for him. May he repent of all sins and from this moment on walk worthy of the call You have on his life. Father, continue to be with this family. May they bask in Your unfailing peace that passes all understanding. I ask these things in Your name. Amen

Thank you all for your prayers, here is a update on his status:

He went twelve hours with bleeding around the brain, much of this time due to neglect of small town hospital staff and them not getting him transferred more quickly to the city for surgery, so there was so much damage to the frontal and temporal lobe, left side only, that they had to remove the left hemisphere of the frontal lobe and temporal lobe. The two hour surgery planned took five hours instead, and much more damage was found then expected..again so much they removed the frontal and temporal lobes..best I understand, but not sure, the left hemisphere only and he was left handed, so the right hemisphere is his dominant lobe by the way..which may be some good news. We are actually guessing that it was left only, because after the surgery they took him to cat scan and scanned the right side for injuries..they said they had not checked the right side prior to surgery as the injury was left side located and they just got him in there. The frontal lobe was the biggest concern because of the motor and speech connections to the frontal lobes of the brain. The temporal lobe is involved in the understanding of sounds and spoken words, as well as emotion and memory.

He is in a coma, and on a ventilator of course, which the docs say that as far as dying, that is not a concern, he is doing very well and is very stable, which makes sense because the breathing and heart, vital organs, are controlled by the part of the brain that he did not have injury to, anterior portion of the brain..all his damage is to the front and left side. They said though that he may never come out of the coma, and if he does, they cannot say if he will ever walk or talk again..if he will be a vegetable or not. My kids were sure that they were just not being honest with them. Myself also, until I did some research on the net, because I thought how could they remove part of the frontal and temporal lobe if it involves motor skills and speech, and he be anything else but a vegetable? It seemed like a death sentence to us, and my kids have been tormented about him being a vegetable since surgery..pretty much praying that he not be able to breathe on his own when they remove the vent if he is going to be left a vegetable.

But then in researching the brain, I read that frontal involves voluntary movement and speech, but so does the part of his brain that is not damaged, and it sounds like the undamaged part of his brain is more in control of motor skills and speech then the frontal lobes actually. From what I am reading it seems like when the frontal lobes are affected, you see more things with personality then anything else motor skill wise.

I lastly found a webpage put up by a mom of a boy who has had three frontal lobe labotomies for seizure disorder. They have removed portions of his frontal lobes three different times, and they only residual effect it has left is lack of inhabition and impulsivity, again both of these I have noted over and over being the major problems with frontal injuries or lobotamies..personality changes to the worse extent, increased aggressiveness, anger, depression, inhabition, etc. But up until this page on her son, (she is Christan by the way and put her son in the Lords hands, and gives the Lord all the glory for her sons outcome) all I could find was information on frontal lobe lesions, not actual removal of frontal lobes or portions of. This is why her story gave me a real sense of hope and I have been passing all I have found onto my kids via email and by phone call. My son is taking this very hard..he has not been speaking all day, and all tonight he has just cried and cried.

This is all the more hard for my kids, especially my son, because of the strained relationship due to the way their dad was. I did not mention earlier today that something odd has been going on because we have not spoke in years, but he called me last week, drunk, late at night, and talked on and on about his kids..how he loved them, and he wanted to start seeing his grandbabys and doing things with them. He even said a couple things about us, and in a way told me that he was wrong in beating me and how he treated me. He did this in a round about way of speaking about our daughter who is in a like relationship, and said like us, she would realize one day she had to get out of it. My son said he has also called him a couple times this past week and apologized to him for the way he has been and told him he loves him, to always remember that. It is almost as if he sensed something was going to happen to him and he realized how important his kids were for maybe the first time in his life.

These kids have never had a real father figure in their lives, and maybe, just maybe this could be the circumstance to change that. If God could use this for the good, spare his life, give him another chance and he can turn his life around, give his life to the Lord and be a real person and father to these kids. My kids have already said that if he comes through this, or even comes conscious enough, they are going to witness to him. I pray they have that chance to do so.

Again, thank you for the prayers. I will do my best to stand on faith that God will heal and use this to the good. I struggle with this since my dad and him dying when I stood so strong on faith. The enemy does come after me in this, and I admit that it is very hard for me when in the trial, so I would ask that all of you would stand in the gap for me in this and have the faith for me, and maybe my just knowing that can give me the faith strength I need in this. Holy Spirit as this man is in a coma speak to him and show him many things, then when he awakens let him be a totally changed man for he has seen your glory and love.. then from there let him repent and turn to you with all he has..

Oh dear gracious God, please step in and make sure he lives. Let him know it was your mercy that brought him back. Help him get to know you and accept Jesus as his savior in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Father, I have heard Micro-cephalic children talk when they have only a brainstem to use. I have seen these same children do things that all the Doctors said were impossible, things like crawl and write or draw! I know You can cause the connections in this man's brain work and repair to the point that he is healed and free of the disabilities this injury and surgery could cause. In the Name of Jesus I declare that this man will have normal movement and speech so that he can be a living testimony to the Lord My God! Holy Spirit! I release him to You for his healing and for his Salvation in Jesus! Do Not Allow this Man to die without Jesus as his Lord and Savior! Thank You Lord! AMEN!

Jesus, I pray for this man I ask you to give him dreams and visions while in acoma that will make him a differnt man. I ask you to please let his daughter see the change and turn her life around as well. I ask this be a turning point for this family that it bring them so close to you and that the dad will seek Jesus and his truth and his salvation. In Jesus Name, Amen

Father, I stand in agreement for this man to be healed, may Your healing waters rush through his body from the bottom of his toes to the top of his head, may Your anointing fall heavily upon him and those taking care of him. May Your wisdom guide the doctors and may Your healing hand be upon this man. May You and You alone receive all the honor and glory and praise. Father, may you fill Kristie and her children with peace and comfort during this very difficult and trying time as they have experienced much. For You will never leave them or forsake them, You are with them right now Lord calming the storms around them, saying "Peace be still.....peace be still." I pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen
