Prayer for Uncle Steve

I need prayer warriors to agree with me for my Uncle's prayer. He is disrespectful to my mom on a daily basis...not because of anything she did but because he thinks all women are trash. He is wrong and we all know it but this comes from a bitter divorce in which his ex-wife cheated on him. Resulting in a child that is no way his( he was in Korea on a hardship tour.) Anyway, because of this he has hated all women except his mom and sister. He has even been nasty to me when my husband was away on duty. I know why he fell into that thinking but God needs to remove it. My mother has never done anything to him but tried to help him constantly when he was in need she is just that kind of person. Even when he is nasty to her she just lets it go. But today he threatened to kill her. I fear he has been playing with more than we know. He is addicted to prescrition drugs because of a knee injury while in Korea. Please I really need your prayer for him. He is drowning quickly and he knows better my grandma raised her children in the Lord though none are serving him whole heartedly. But he is even trying to tell me how to raise my children with open mindedness as he calls it. Which we would call compromise. Join me in prayer for Uncle Steve he was always my favorite uncle but is quickly slipping into a I can't stand his ways space.

Jesus,
I know Grandma is praying for him and has been since she was on the phone when all this happened. She heard it all. I pray Lord first for strength for Grandma she is the one who has to work at keeping the peace. So father give her strength she has enough going on with her Kidneys she doesn't need this. So now Lord I agree with her. I ask you to deliver him from the demons in control of his life and let him see what he is playing with. I pray you send the right person into his life to soften his heart and make him turn to you a Godly person who he will listen to and respect. Thank you Jesus for saving my Uncle Steve In Jesus Name, AMen

Father, I come into agreement with Bobbie for her Uncle Steve's Salvation, Deliverance and Healing. I stand with her for her Gramma's Healing in her kidneys and strength to let You do the peacemaking. Give her Mom strength and a quiet spirit that convicts Steve of his nastiness and causes him to seek Jesus for some of that strength. In the Name of Jesus, i rebuke and bind over to Jesus the spirits of death and terror that is causing Steve to threaten Bobbie's Mom, Get out and do not return! Thank You Lord!!! AMEN!

The best way I can pray in this~

Dearest Yahweh, I ask that You move in this situation, this prayer request with Your will being made manifest in & through it. Provide Your answer, Your will & I ask this in the Name above all others, Your Son Yah’shua & in His Mighty Name,by the Power of His Blood, I break off every power of the kingdom of darkness.I cancel every argument in Heaven & spoil every attack of the enemy that has tried to establish itself against this child of Yours~& Hear my prayer in the spirit dear God, concerning this, the prayer that I lift up to you in the spirit because I want to pray Your Will Heavenly Father. Praise your name Father, what a joy it is to know that we can pray and ask all of these things in the name of your Son~ With thanksgiving, praise & adoration... ~Amen & amen~

Dear Prayer warriors,

Thank you for your prayers. Now it has become evident that my family needs your prayer even more. My uncle attacked my father yesterday from behind. Daddy is such a sweet man, he turned the other cheek. However, he also told my uncle if he ever tries it again he would regret it. Daddy is sore, I am really upset with this because my uncle told my mom in front of the city police officer that he was going to get her yet. If he will attack his own brother for no reason what will he do to my mom, he hates her. He has no reason to. You have to understand that she let him borrow her car for a year at one point becuase he needed a way to get back to his duty station and his had broke down. why he is treating her like a dog and my dad so badly I don't know. My grandpa told him last night he has to move immediatley. He lives over my dads business in an apartment up there. When he needs to leave he woould have to come down through the shop and this would make it easy for him as mom and dad sit at the desk with their back to his apartment. He is ex-military. Not someone you want to be in an attack mode. Please I am begging you to please everyone pray for my parents they believe but they aren't praticing christians. I am 3000 miles away and can't even help. I am afraid for them my uncle has lost all sense of reality. He has allowed the spirit of violence in among other demons and I know there is only one hope for my whole family. Jesus. Please pray for them. My fathers name is Barry and my mother is Cathy. My grandparents are Bobby and Juanita and this is tearing them up. Love to all, Bobbie Note: Steve did not go to jail for this. My father would have had to put out a warrant for him and since it was his baby brother he wouldn't mainly because of Grandma. Dad doesn't want to upset her you know, he is very protective of his parents they mean the world to him as does all his family.

I just wanted to update this and ask for more prayer. My dad and Uncle haven't been speaking since this occured however, God is working on it. On my Mamaw's birthday dad went over and Steve was there instead of leaving and returning when he wasn't dad went on in. They did speak to each other but that is the extent of it.

I have discussed this with dad on several occassions and he wants his brother to apologize and it would all be water under the bridge. Daddy is a forgiving man but also very stubborn when he's right(even when he is wrong).

My Mamaw is in her 70's and we can't have the Christmas get together like we used to because they can't be in the same room for long. The tension in the air when they are is to thick. Pray God will work this out so that we can have the family together in the same house all at the same time for her and Papaw's sake.

We did run into him at Thanksgiving again and dad and him talked a little according to my husband. I was inside the house and they were all outside(it was too cold for us women.) I just ask you all to pray for restoration. This seems so like the end times prophecies of Brother against Brother I know. But I feel that if pride and stubborness would be cast off we could be a happy family agian. I know my uncle is sorry for what happened I have spoke to him on the phone a few times. But when I do I feel like I am betraying daddy. Bobbie

O dear gracious Lord, please soften this heart of Uncle Steve. Please humble him and have him repent of his wicked ways. Have him to turn to Jesus and accept the truth. I ask of you in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Just wanted to update this request. My dad and uncle are now speaking to each other. My mother is still very bitter about this. My memaw had to have a stint put in just a week ago thursday. When we went to return pepaw's truck to his house from the hospital my uncle was there he and dad talked for quite awhile. I hope that the family will be restored but it is a long hard road from what I am seeing. Continue to pray for this family. Thanks a bunch. Bobbie

PS. My memaw is recovering quickly I spent last Thursday with her and although she isn't able to do the things she usually did she is recovering well.

Father,
I lift my family before you. I know you will return soon and I wish that all my family will be sat around the banquet table on the day of the wedding feast. Right now I know that wouldn't happen so I ask you to soften hearts and open eyes that are covered with scales. I ask for salvation of all my family members. In Jesus Name,AMen.

When I began to pray for your family I saw in my spirit a man working so hard.

He was bent over and using one of those old tools, like a flat pickax, to break up hard and dry ground in a field by hand.

The thing is that he was not just beginning.

All around him the ground was already chopped up and loose.

He had been working on it for a long time.

A lot had already been done.
Lord, I cry out to you for this family.

I bless what you are doing and ask you to continue your work on their behalf.

I thank you for what has already been done.

Surround each of them with the healing that they need.

Send them messages of your love and reassure them of it.

May repentance and mercy and forgiveness rush over them and repair their relationships.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I have printed out this thread to share with my grandmother. We are praying the whole family gets saved. Your insight is so encouraging I just sat and cried when I read what God showed you. My granmother had a dream/vision I am not sure which that the banquet table was set in heaven and Jesus at the head and all our family was there. This is what we hold on to every time we see them heading in the wrong direction. Bobbie
