prayer for protection for teenage son

hi
my son recetly received his license and i am freaking out about him driving alone, presently i am riding with him to and from school, i am afraid to let go and let him drive alone, my son is a good driver and he is very responsible, but i am scared to let go and let him drive without me there.. 
i know i must let him grow up, that is not the problem, he is my only child and i just worry so much about him, i'm scared for his safety.
please pray for protection for him while he drives and strength for me to let him go it alone...

Jesus be with this mother and her son. Father protect him on and off the road. Jesus give him wisdom, alertness, and caution to drive carefully. Help him to be aware of other drivers, especially other young drivers like himself. Jesus give him the strength to resist any temptations to speed and keep him fron distractions. Give his Mother peace and confidence. Give her wisdom as to when he can drive and when its time for him not to drive. Even if he has his own car, let him realize driving is a priviledge given to him by his parents, not a right. Thank You that he is a respondsible young man and for the love in this family. Bless them as they grow together in this new phase of his life.

And because we know that you have heard this mother, we are confident that you will protect her child and that your Holy angels will be round about him as he drives now and in the future, we ask for wisdom as he drives, and understanding of the issues involved in driving vehicles. We thank you Lord because you know the love of a mother. In Jesus name. Amen!
