This is a prayer request for my fiancé. She has grown up with the openness of believing or not believing in God, her parents gave her the free-will to choose. This is something I do respect. Diana is her name. Her last name is Smith, which yes, she is related to Joseph Smith; her blood-line goes back multiple generations to Joseph. This doesn’t mean she is Mormon, it just means her family has been brought up within that belief aspect. She is a self-professed Christian and believes Jesus died for her sins. She has accepted Christ into her heart on a number of occasions; she believes Jesus is the Son of God. The prayer I have for the Saints to lift up is that she gains the hunger for God. As it stands now she believes she doesn’t need to do anything other then be a good person to everyone, which is good. I, along with my mother believe she hasn’t experienced the touch of God on her life. God has been working in my life massively lately. I fell away from the Lord shortly after my divorce, and lived a life of sin for a couple years until I started listening to the Holy Spirit as He was tugging me back. I was introduced to some tapes from my mother about a month ago and they set me free. The Hell tapes where about this woman whom was taken to Hell on several occasions and her testimony. From the second I placed the tape into my car player, I was in tears from the begging of the tape to the end of the series. God broke the dark cloud that was surrounding my life. I have sense then been in tears latterly almost DAILY, hungering for more of God. I want my earthly partner to experience the same hunger, but I know this can not be forced. Diana is an incredibly intelligent women, she used to belong to MENSA (smart people club hehe). Diana says she is open to what God will have for her; she says she prays all the time to Him. She never prays out-loud and we don’t know why. I have never met someone who doesn’t pray out-loud before. She said that when she does, she cries. I am like, that’s ok there is nothing wrong with tears, but she still insists on praying on the inside. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Diana is a women of facts, and not opinions, she will not change her thought process unless shown backup of something. She is open to listening to others, but skeptical at the same time. I love her a lot, and want to see her set free into His grace and experience His touch.

Please pray.

Lord, I pray that Diana, who believes in You, but is a thinker and intellectual, feel the emotion of You. Lord, she worships You in her own way, in her own heart, and this is good. Help her to grow in You. May she never have to experience the self-doubt that results from backslidding. I've no idea how old she is but send her friends who surround her who are also growing in You and give her fiancee and his mother patience with her growth. As for her bloodline, as with all of us, Father, cover her in Your Blood so that it is Your blood that flows over her and in her. Help her to maintain communication in her relationship with You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
