Former Life

As many of you know and have also had, I have a former life. In my former life I was selectively promiscuious (very careful, but wild). I have no regrets of giving those times up and praise the Lord that He saved me from them. Long story short, Jason and I have had a consistently chaste relationship with a great deal of respect. I love this and value it. Two men from my past, however, one away and one here have begun to contact me again and express attraction, still. Temptation is there pray that it pass. I want the relationship with Jason to be special. He is the only fleshly person I have any interest in but with his work schedule and other obligations I am very lonely. Pray that I strengthen. I don't want him to know the lurid details of my past.

Isa 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Isa 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
We ALL have a former life, of one way or another...some were wilder than others,...some done more than others..but we ALL have a former life. Is there any way Jason would hear from anyone, or possibly even these 2, about your past? If so, don't you think Jason would be better off hearing about some of it from you? I mean if there would be this chance of finding out anyhow else from anyone else? You might be lonely, but still is no reason to be in fornication with past relationships. If you don't feel you are strong enough, to not sin in that way, then you need to definitely stay away from these past relationships. You say "I have no regrets of giving those times up and praise the Lord that He saved me from them", so keep that in mind, that God SAVED you from those times, and do not willingly step back into them just because you are lonely.Temptations will ALWAYS be there, but remember it is temptations unless we give in to it, and THEN it becomes sin. Like the old saying..you cannot prevent the birds from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building a nest in your hair! And if Jason is working so much,...is he always so busy, where you do not have enough time together? What about when/if you marry? Will he have time enough for you then? Something to consider... not getting down on ya Nessa... just think about it. God bless.
