God is in control!

I just wanted to share a story with you guys. It has really made me realize that God is in control even when we think he is not.
Me and my family were trying to plan a last minute vacation. I was really wanting to go but didn't feel like the time was right because my husband just had back surgery and we have so much going on and we really didn't have the money to go. We really needed to get away for a while though. I prayed about it all day. I totally left it in God hands to allow my husband to make the right choice. Well, he decided we should try to go. To make a long story short it took us nearly 7 hrs to go to the beach, which is a 4 hr drive. We had to stop a lot because of my husbands back. We were 30 miles from the beach and my car started shaking..something was wrong. We drove on to the beach and got a room. The next morning we went to Wal-mart. We took the car in to see what was wrong. I knew it was the front end but I couldnt see anything wrong. They were going to rotate the tires and found that 2 tires on the inside, where you cant see it, were really bad. I then remembered a pot hole I hit a few weeks ago. I didn't think it had damaged anything. We didn't have the money for tires so we had those two bad ones put on the back. They also found that one of my wheels was bent. All I could do was pray. I knew that I had left it up to God...and we shouldnt be going through all of this. Wal-mart rotated everything around and we finnished our vacation. We didn't do much but hang out on the beach but it was a well needed trip. Yesterday we took my car and got the front end aligned...still leaving the bad tires and bent wheel on my car. I may be able to get a wheel from a coworker at no charge..so I am feeling better. Tires are going to cost $398.00. I am wondering how long i can keep driving this car to try and save the money. Around 3pm yesterday I got a phone call at work. It was my husband. He was in tears. We got a check in the mail. It was for $398.00. We had over paid our insurance. God has been so good to us. For me it is so hard to put things in Gods hands. I am learning the right things to do. This is a lesson that has touched my life in a way that I will always remember. PRAISE GOD!! He always finds a way!
