The LIE of Yoga!!! Many Christians have FALLEN for it...

Within the last decade, Yoga has exploded.

Interesting.

And I'm sure that those of you who are taking Yoga have actually taken the time to investigate on your own what you really have gotten yourselves into?

How can people be so ignorant in a day and age when information is so readily available...is beyond me.

However, I do feel that it is a responsibility of all to alert the community when broad deceptions are being committed.

Yoga is a form of the occult. This is a fact. There are many different types of Yoga but it is all metaphysical.

For those who are of the Christian faith and are practicing Yoga; you have been fooled the worst.



Why?



If you are a Christian (monotheistic), why are you practicing something that comes from the Hindu (polytheistic) religion, in which it is well known that those of this faith serve many gods?



I'm not going to turn this into a religious debate but I have to say that I truly expect those who are literate and somewhat educated to at least look into those things before getting involved in them.



People are destroyed for lack of knowledge and I am sorry to burst some of your bubbles; but don't get mad at me because I chose to look for the TRUTH in this stuff and found out that many have been lying about it's true purpose and are deceiving millions.

I agree yoga is bad and is from the devil reason being it is a form of prayer except it is not to Jesus it is finding that tranquil state in self in meditation.. Notice it is not meditatiing on Jesus but self.. We are to seek the face of God alone in prayer and to meditate on his word alone instead of yoga (any other form is false). Instead of abiding in the true peace that is Jesus within you (for those who are saved), yoga tries to have you conjure up a false peace in meditation causing you to turn your eyes from Jesus.. Many are seeking a false peace in this yoga than rather seeking the true peace found ONLY in Jesus..


Deuteronomy 4
29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

1 Chronicles 16
11 Look to the LORD and his strength;
seek his face always.

Psalm 48
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate on your unfailing love
(notice in prayer as we are seeking the face of Jesus we are meditating on his unfailing love)

Psalm 119
15 I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways.

Jeremiah 29
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
(note you will find Jesus in prayer when you are seeking him with all your heart not through yoga in trying to conjure up a peace through your emotions or mind)

What hurts the most is that some Christians have the time to seek yoga instead of spending that time they are seeking yoga in seeking the face of Jesus during prayer...


For those who are in yoga you need to simply repent and turn from this and ask Jesus to forgive you and begin to develop a true relationship with Jesus in prayer in seeking his face and in growing in his word..

I couldn't agree with you more. All of the poses in Yoga are a type of Hindu worship.

The "metaphysical" and "new age" (there really isn't anything new about paganism) are taking the world by storm.

They are being promoted as peaceful and harmonious. I can tell you from personal experience, that that peace and harmony will backfire and explode in your face.

I need to show my mom your post. Thanks for posting.

For many years this has been on my heart and within the last 24 hours; I've been led to post this information.

I've posted this information on another site but I particularly wanted to make sure to post it over here.

God is not mocked and those who are of God will hear his voice.

I do hope that those who have been deceived are reading this message; I do pray they will be delivered by the truth.
