A friend of mine, a regular church goer and all around good guy, has a really difficult financial time. This weekend he has been offered extra work bartending at two major events. He needs the money and is very excited, however; I know that he will be missing both services on Sunday (one event ends at 2:00 am Sunday morning and other begins at 3:00 pm) and may even miss his ordinary job on Monday. We won't begin to mention the other temptations that come his way when the atmosphere envelopes him. Pray that he receive another, more stable and decent offer. Pray that he see what he is counting as a blessing is actually a curse in disguise and a choice he should not make.

Thank you Lord, hallelujah. Blessed be your holy name. I agree in prayer for provision, meet every need. Help this man be a witness to those he works with. I pray a hedge of protection about him in Jesus name, amen and amen.
