We must pray for Senators and Representatives or...

When a Godly President is elected he will be surrounded by those who oppose anything with a "righteous in the sight of God" legislation. If we begin to pray for these people, as the Bible tells us to do, this election could mean a real freedom for the people. If we fail to put Godly men in Washington DC, we will continue to be plagued by evil. Heavenly Father, Please call these people to Salvation, and redemption, and if they will not serve you, then replace them with those who will. Lord, we ask it in Jesus Name. This needs to be a true Nation under YOU! AMEN

Father, in Jesus' Name we ask that these people will have forgivness from You when they fall asleep at night. Holy Spirit, we ask for You to teach them in their sleep the way they must go. We ask this request be continued until they begin to move in One Spirit with the rest of the people of the United States. Father, we ask that those who willfully oppose that which is decent and moral be returned to their own homes until they can learn how to behave. Lord, we pray that you will place those in Washington DC, that will seek you and follow your Word as they administer the laws of the land and make new ones.
Father, when those who were elected change their stance and refuse to do what the majority of the state want, then they need to be replace or they need to find salvation and Wisdom in you. Lord move mightely in the elections that will send people to the Senate, and House of Representatives. Cause this Nation and those who represent the people to be Holy and Righteous in your eyes. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen

Guide our Legislators in Washington DC to follow YOUR principles and ways. Guide them to make christian laws and to consult your ways each & every day before they go to work.

We are a failling country, dear Lord. We have broke away from your Laws that our country was founded on & based upon. We have allowed liberal judges to corrupt our ONCE GREAT NATION by removing principles that were set aside to preserve us in your Divine Love. We have allowed Legislators to write laws that are not christian based.

Help our American society, dear Lord. Perserve our Country by granting us legislators that will be an aid to our President.

Father, please remove the scales from the eyes of the voters here in North Dakota, and in South Dakota. They have been fooled and betrayed by their Senators and Representative. Lord, they look so good to the people, and they ride the fences saying they support Marriage between one man and one woman, and then refuse to follow the desires of the people in voting for a Federal Marriage Amendment. They say they are against abortion, but do nothing, and then they say that they are against cloning but support creating a life, only to destroy it for the benefit of someone else. Prioritys, Lord...Show them that the only priority is to follow your judgements. Father this is not a nation where sin should be proclaimed as good, and Christians be proclaimed as bad. Lord, we pray that you will set this straight in this election, and deliver us from our bad choices, and our self-removal from the governing aspect of our Nation. Father, move not only in North and South Dakota, but move throughout this nation, and create again, a Nation under YOU and only YOU! Father, Let us raise our children according to your Word, that they will be able to find you and find life now and in eternity. Maybe I have received just enough information about Senators lately to get me into trouble, but I have messed up before and didn't perish (Thank You God)...so here goes:

Father, in Jesus' Name I ask You to show us how to replace the Senators who are hungry more for the stockmarket and big payoffs than for protecting the rights of the people of the United States of America. I ask that You allow us to see our ranchers and farmers become their own bosses again and enable them as well as show them how to invest their own produce into the wealthy storehouses that should be available to people in our own country FIRST. We ask that imports that are unnecessary (like animals for slaughter and grains, etc.) be stopped if we can take care of our needs, then let us export to countries that are in need of our surplus. Lord, please let the control buttons be removed from the Senate in this area and let the Senators do the jobs they were elected to do. Such as keep our ranchers and farmers lands their own, as well as their produce.

Father, we ask that the Senators we have elected be allowed a fair wage, not one they vote for themselves. God help us to figure out a way to keep cheaters out of the Senate (as far as advanced trading tips are concerned). We ask that a system be set up according to their job description and performance in that position to decide wage increases or bonuses. Lord, send someone more knowledgable than me to figure out how to do it.

Lord, let the Senators who are so against the freedom You have given us in this country TO SERVE YOU screw up so bad and so openly that they are completely removed from our government paycheck. Then we ask You to forgive them for their sins and show them a better way, in Jesus' Name.

Give us boldness, Lord, to be openly ignorant if need be, to shed light on subjects we would all be better off knowing about. Lord, let the man with dirt under his fingernails from hard labor walk side by side with Senators and let the Senators listen to the working man for what this country needs. Lord, if a man You have put in office cannot do what You have put him there for, give him wisdom to step down. Lord, always be in the working man's heart, in Jesus' Name we ask all of these things, Amen.

November 20th, 2004 - WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D. (R-TN) made the following statement late Saturday evening after introducing the “Save Our Scouts” bill to permit federal support for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. Frist attempted to move the legislation today by unanimous consent. The measure did not pass.
“Mr. President, this week, we learned that the Department of Defense has warned American military bases worldwide to cease officially sponsoring the Boy Scouts of America.
“The department issued its directive in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The Illinois chapter of the ACLU accuses the U.S. government of improperly supporting a group which administers a religious oath.
“The ACLU’s legal attack has forced the Defense Department to suspend its decades long tradition of supporting scouts, and may even prevent scouts from celebrating their annual jamborees on Defense installations.
“But it doesn’t stop here. There is fresh evidence that the ACLU intends to end all federal support for the Boy Scouts of America. In their view, where there is government there cannot be faith.

Heavenly Father, I ask that you would stop the ACLU from the continued attacks against anything having to do with YOU. Lord, I ask that America will no longer be held hostage by them. They file thousands of lawsuits, or threaten them if someone won't do something. Lord, then they go back to court and get whoever they filed against to pay their legal fees. Father, this has to stop. Your Word says that the unrighteous store up treasure for the children of God. Lord, we pray that now this treasure will transfer to you, and this organization will not even be able to pay their phone bill. Lord, set America free.
Father, I ask that you will continue to keep Scouting apart of America, and that the rules do not have to change to stop the use of your name or to make homosexual leaders a protected species. Father, another area to pray about and I ask that as I sleep your Holy Spirit will take this pray and send it to where it is intended to go...Let Jesus be praised through all of this. AMEN

THANK YOU. I did not know this was happening. As a former Girl Scout of 20+ years, I am appalled and disgusted that someone would try to destroy an organization that helps our youth instead of harming them. I have personally experienced meeting Queen Elizabeth II thru Girl Scouting, I have been to Europe and seen changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, kissed the Blarney stone in Ireland;I have seen:Stonehedge, William Shakespeares home,been to several historical places, and many other wonderful experiences, all thru Girl Scouts. Scouting provides young boys and girls to be taught values, and morals in a world that is clearly lacking them. There were girls in my troop when I was younger who were foster kids, that being in Girl Scouts gave them the only sense of "family" they ever had. The troops I was in often "adopted a Grandparent" from a local nursing home, we would help out with the MDA telethon, we raised money for pregnant teens, and several other service projects, all thru doing "good deeds" in SCOUTING. GIRL SCOUTING and BOY SCOUTING is not "religious" based but the foundation of GOD is there, as it should be. THIS country was based on GOD and the freedom to worship him. Even the ACLU would not exists if it were not for men and women in the Armed Forces of the UNITED STATES of America, that was founded "In GOD We Trust" fighting for their freedoms to file these frivolous lawsuits.

I once thought the ACLU was a decent organization, but seeing how much of their focus has shifted lately, I have definitely changed my opinion.

FATHER,

I come before you now truly saddened that there are people who would allow themselves to be used in such a manner to destroy fine organizations that help our youth. People complain that are is not enough for our youth, yet they try to destroy things that are already in place. Give insight and wisdom to those who are in position to make decisions according to your will. Protect those who are standing up against those who seek to destroy this great country by removing your name and presence from our everyday lives. I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!

Give our Senators and Congressmen and all Representatives everywhere in the United States who are citizens wisdom, knowledge, discernment, Your mind, Your heart, Your love. Give them dreams and visions that teach wisdom, knowledge, understanding. Give them visions that help them know the right decisions to make.

Help them know what to do to take our country out of the enemy's hands and help them teach us what to do to do it Your way.

Lord, let them be strong and of good courage as they move this country forward.

Give them wisdom and sound doctrine to do those things which will rebuild our country and undo the things that have caused harm to it.

We pray that You will find the work they do on their jobs pleasing and acceptable to You. We trust the anointing You have over our government to do those things which will accomplish Your will for all of us.

Let their hands cause everything they have been given authority over to prosper. Let their work be judged only by the ones whose job is to do that. We pray that You will put only those people in office who will seek to see Your people prosper, since we follow after You and trust in Your Word.

Lord, I ask you to lay your hand upon their shoulder, and cause their hearts to turn to righteousness, and desire to do the very best they can for the people of this nation. I ask that insurance companies who flex their muscles when it comes to premiums, but use that money to find ways to get out of paying medical expenses be shut down forever. I pray that insurance companies that charge doctors, who are not known for carelessness, horrible amounts for malpractice insurance be shut down forever. I pray that doctors who overcharge people with insurance coverage will not overcharge anymore because sometimes the insurance companies won't pay their bills, and the people have to eat these charges. I pray that we find a way to pay our doctors and scientists enough money to live on plus extra for their great contributions to all of us! I pray that pharmaceutical companies that charge pennies overseas, but charge enormous amounts for medication in their own country be replaced by companies who actually care about the health and well being of its people. I pray that there will be some way shown to our leaders that our old people can afford medical care, prescriptions, a place to live, utilities and food without having to work until they die, without taxing us all beyond our abilities to live comfortably, too, and that will enable them to have vacations like everyone else. I pray that the power to manipulate family agendas be taken away from public school systems. That time spent on outside events be limited to school time only, so that families can spend more time with each other. I also pray that, in communities where school taxes are so high, there would be enough books for students to be able to take them home with them to study and do homework. I pray that teachers get better pay because they are an investment to our future and the future of our children. I pray that people will always have enough money to keep their homes warm in the winter. In Jesus' Name I ask all of these things. Lord, I know You provide every need, but we tend to complicate things with ideas that are not beneficial. Help our leaders find ways to correct bad situations in our country. Help them to untangle the spiderwebs we're all wound up in. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Lord, Bless those who serve this Nation in all capacity of Government. Lord, let them understand that they will be required to answer to you for all they do in this position. Lord, we ask you to give them your Divine Guidance, and show them much wisdom that they will put the needs of the nation's people before their own.

Stop the bribery, the evil plans, stop the lies, and deceits that have been known to be the only way to be elected and stay in power. Father, defeat the power of darkness, and take back this Nation to honor and Faith in You as the only GOD! Amen in the Name of Jesus

Lord, give us righteous legislators! Save those who are not and let the saved get elected!

I especially ask for the salvation of Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy! Lord, they are die hard liberals, but You can change all that by changing their hearts. Do a mighty work, an OVER HAUL, in each of them!

Lord, Bill Frist and others who love You, may they be given favor. May Your servants be the ones who help get a marriage amendment and pro-life bills passed. I pray that You will give them favor and give them those who stand with them.

I pray that these philibusters against the supreme court justice nominations are stopped! Let there be a "Yes" or "No" vote. Let the legislators be able to vote their opinion! I pray for them to be able to vote in Christian justices.

Lord, I ask for Your will to be done in the halls of Washington DC. Let righteouness be the rule, not popular opinion!
