Baptism Saturday 11th, 04 at 11:10am

Hello everyone,

I come here tonight and announce that I will be making a very significant choice in my life and have opted to be baptized tomorrow at 11:10am Saturday morning on the 11th of September 2004. I had been attending Pastor Mark Fox services at the Seventh Day Adventist Church for a month and realized it is time to publicize what Jesus Christ means to me. Jesus Christ is my savior and encourager. He is the serenity and peace within my mind, heart and soul. Most significantly, Jesus is the truth and the truth shall set me free. In your powerful name Jesus, send many blessings to me as I will be baptized in your holy water. Heal me completely from head to toe taking away my disheartening in the past, putting together my broken spirit and delivering me from fear. In you Jesus, I will be delivered by the power of your name, amen....

Moreover, I ask of everyone who reads this announcement and prayer request to please kneel down and pray your amazing and powerful prayers on my behalf tomorrow as I am being baptized. Send me angels to protect me and the holy spirit to enter my mind, heart and soul. Amen.

Father, I lift Lorena, Your child, up to You. It is my prayer that You will continue to keep You hand upon her as she seeks to have a deeper and more personal walk with You. Cover her and place Your angels around her as she walks faithfully on the path You have laid out for her. In Your name, I pray. Amen

Hello and thank you everyone for your wonderful prayers and thoughts of me during my baptism. It was a very exciting experience for me, eventhough, scary while in the water because I can't swim but all in all the water was warm so it made up for almost drowning. At any rate, I felt such a peace within me during the entire day and afterwards as well. I have decided to dedicated my life in serving Jesus Christ as best as I can for what he did for everyone, including myself. He sacrificed his life for our sins.

Jesus Christ is my savior and I will continue to attend church and praise him as well as become thirsty for more and more knowledge about the bible.

Once again, I thank everyone whom was kind enough to respond to my prayer request.
