Asking for God's intervention....

I come to you all not knowing what to do or pray any longer. I have an 18 year old son who is putting our family through horrors. He has a drinking problem. He will come home at 3 or 4 in the morning very intoxicated and in a rage. He cusses me, his dad, his girlfriend, anyone who will hear it for everything we are worth. He tries to break things, tries to fight his dad, etc. He has already been arrested 3 times this year for alcohol related insidents. He is currently on probation. I have spent much time praying and begging God to protect him from physical harm and begging God to save him. Last night it happened again and his dad says he has to move out. I will support him in this though it is breaking my heart. We do not know what to do, we just know we can no longer have this in our house. We also have an almost 5 year old baby girl who has been awakened on numerous occasions to his fits of rage scared to death. Please pray for us all. My husband and I need wisdom. For my son that God would take away his desire for alcohol, and for my baby girl protection. Thank you all so much.

Dear Lord,
I pray over this young man this morning. Father, I pray that that he would...
1. See sin for sin. He is in a terrible web, Father. Lift the blinders and help him to see clearly.
2. Let the Holy Spirit have free reign in his life, Lord. Let him see, hear, and feel your presence, Dear Father.
3. Bring Christian people into his path, Lord, I pray. Let them be friends and a support system for him as he finds his way to victory in you.
We praise you, Father, for your answer to our prayers in time of need! We pray 2 Cor 12:9 over this situation, Lord, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"

Father God, I pray for Your hand to be upon this family during this time. I pray for salvation for the son and for the spirit of alcohol addiction to be broken in Your mighty name. I pray that he will repent and decide to walk worthy of the life You have for him. I pray that his family will be at peace as You are working within this man's life. Place angels of protection over father, mother and daughter. In Your name, I pray. Amen
