Thanks for posting this Anointed Warrior. Also, the text can be downloaded from Kenneth Copeland's website - it's 35 pages. Some people from our church don't have access to computers and wanted to read it.

I really admire Kenneth Copeland for having articles on his website that covers a wide range of topics.

As much as I admire and respect Oral and Richard Roberts and believe they are men of God, I always take these type of things with a grain of salt.

I still remember Oral saying God would 'take him home' if he didn't raise a certain amount of money by a certain date.

Please always use spiritual discernment. Even the most annointed ones among us can make mistakes. I am not saying Oral did not experience this, I am just saying be spiritual discerning and ask the LORD to show you the truth in everything or lack of it.

Yes, we are to test what is being said. However, a main component is for us to repent or reevaluate our lives as Christians - that is never a bad thing. Another component is that "the body" hasn't done what God wanted us to do - again this points to an reevaluation process. God's judgment is coming and the purpose is so more souls will be saved - instead of us focusing on our goals, we need to be focusing on what God really wants. We have to prepare for the masses of people who will be turning to the church. Additionally, it reminds us that Jesus is coming again soon.

Jim Bramlett
Oct 01, 2004

Dear friends:

This morning on TV after discussion of Oral Roberts recent vision, Kenneth Copeland described running into Roberts earlier. He said that Roberts suddenly pointed his finger into Copeland's face and shouted, "This is a wake-up call. Jesus is coming."

Copeland said that he was shaken, and then turned to the TV audience and said that he was now saying the same thing to us: "This is a wake-up call. Jesus is coming."

Copeland said that he has never experienced a wake-up call such as this. He is very serious. This is a very bold and blatant message for a TV ministry. On the subject of the Lord's return, most ministries and churches say little, or just hedge themselves to play it safe, so as to not antagonize their donor base.

Many of us have been saying "Jesus is coming" for a long time. It is great, and confirming, to see major ministries now proclaiming the same thing. We are getting closer.

Some say there is too much to do for Jesus to come soon, and that the church is not yet without spot or wrinkle. Most conservative Bible scholars say that nothing else has to happen before the rapture. As far as spots and wrinkles are concerned, if Jesus is waiting for the church to be perfect, He will never come. The only thing that will remove our spots and wrinkles is that heavenly spot remover -- the blood of Jesus! Mine were removed 2,000 years ago. Oh, glory!

We all know that Jesus could be coming back soon. I have had other Pastor friends across the U.S. say the same thing in just past 3 months,

We need to be strong in the LORD

We need to take heed to what Oral Roberts said, he took this to other pastors to be judge before he took it to the nation, Maybe God did tell Oral that he would take him home, Or maybe not.

Only about 20% of people who go to church give their tithe, and less than that give love offerings

Plus God has warn me several times if I kept down that a path I would fall.

God Loves us so much that he has before tell about his plans and the bible says that God has never change so why not tell us now.

What we need to do is Pray for boldness and Tell other about Jesus.

I finally got around to reading the entire transcript and it is very powerful.

Yes, Jesus is returning soon to rapture His own.

I can feel it in the air.

I can sense it in my spirit.

Maranatha!

[I gave up tithing about two years ago when I realized it was not in the New Testament anywhere. What a burden releaser that was! ]

Amen and to just let those here on Anointed.net or guests who are simply viewing this, many people are now beginning to hear shofars and the sound of trumpets in there spirit which many all heard on the same day about October 3, 2004. I too on this day or around there had a dream of shofars being blown and then saw Jesus appearing in the sky.

Get ready I believe God is saying through people who are hearing these shofars wake up and prepare those who are his bride he is VERY, VERY,VERY SOON returning for those who have prepared and made themselves ready by keeping there lamps trimmed and anointing oil full God Bless..

This word fits so close to what God just told me in a word, how can I help but say:

AMEN!!!

To that I add:

PEOPLE GET READY
JESUS IS COMING
SOON WE'LL BE GOING HOME
PEOPLE GET READY
JESUS IS COMING
TO TAKE FROM THE WORLD HIS OWN!

And this is why you're all freaking out?
Somebody says he had a vision about Jesus coming back and you directly freak out....
You know what I bet in world war 1 and world war 2 every christian thought Jesus would come back every minute, too.

Posted by: JeriRose12

You are right, Mamacat. Tithing is not in the new testement! Here's what is, which insinuates we might be asked to give MORE than 10%:

14Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. 15Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
(Philippians 4:14 - 20)

1There is no need for me to write to you about this service to the saints. 2For I know your eagerness to help, and I have been boasting about it to the Macedonians, telling them that since last year you in Achaia were ready to give; and your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action. 3But I am sending the brothers in order that our boasting about you in this matter should not prove hollow, but that you may be ready, as I said you would be. 4For if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we--not to say anything about you--would be ashamed of having been so confident. 5So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given.

Sowing Generously

6Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9As it is written:
"He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever."[1] 10Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
12This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
(2 Corinthians, entire chapter)

The Widow's Offering
41Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins,[a]worth only a fraction of a penny.[b]
43Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything–all she had to live on.”
(Mark 12:41 -44)

IN OTHER WORDS SHE GAVE ALL!!!

The Collection for God's People
1Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 3Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me. (1 Corinthias 16:1 - 4)

38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)

Frederik, it's called the FEAR OF THE LORD , not freaking out. The Bible tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling!

2 Peter 3
The Day of the Lord
1Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. 2I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. 3First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

With fear and trembling?
I don't think we, as christians, have to tremble all day.
I f you want to tremble all day then this is your decision.
Do you try to earn your salvation? Grace is free, if you try to earn it it's not grace.

Jeremiah 17

5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Oh... how much FUN it must be for you to make fun of God's word.... you think this is something MADE UP?
Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

2Co 7:15
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

Eph 6:5
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

And last, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST.....
Phi 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Thank you AW for sharing the links about this vision. I watched several parts on Kenneth Copeland, ordered the dvd and the manuscripts. Jesus is definitely coming back soon! The Mayan Indian calendar ends on December 21, 2012, 4 hurricanes in florida in less than one month, Mt. St. Helens about to erupt again, earthquake in southern LA a few weeks ago, 9 inches of rain in southern California a couple days ago, Typhoon in Japan recently, Last summer one inch hail fell in downtown LA (Watts). It barely rains there, and in the middle of summer.

On tithing
It is better to be a "giver" than a tither. Read 2 Corinthians, Ch 8,9

On Salvation
Many will say Lord, Lord...and I will say depart from me, I never knew you!

On the Fear of the Lord
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom (Proverbs 1 and 9) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hoesea 4:6)

I have been out of touch with the prayer board for a few months, computer issues, etc. It is nice to be back. Nice to see all of you getting along like brothers and sisters! I enjoy the lively discussions. God bless all of you!
