Please tell me how to pray for marriages

I have a problem and I need help with it

I pray here for people, and I have to admmit, when it comes to praying for people that are praying for thier marriages, I stumble, I can pray for thier hurt and I can pray the Lords will, but I have had a fallen marriage and I was done so wrong and cheated on horribly, I can tell you just about any horror story you want to hear, from being threatened by the "other woman" to burn my house down with my kids in it to being called at 3:00 in the morning by her and the husband just to tell me how great the sex they had was, I have had it all done to me and me and my children were wrecked over this, now, I dont need prayer, I know that God is at my center and he aint being moved, but I thought that I would die when all of this was going on, and when I see people pleeding and begging for God to restore the marriage, that I can pray for, but its the stories that they put with the requests, that sounds like an instant replay, I tend to loose faith, I tend to want to tell them of my own experiences and that I dont want them to hurt and be caught up in what I was in, I was suicidal and I dont want to see that again,
Please help me, pray for me that I can pray for others the right way, and not loose the faith when it comes to people that thier marriages look hopeless to me

I hope that I have not offended anyone by all of this, but it has been bothering me for sometime now, and I do want to pray for these matters, but I do feel I owe it to the people that I pray for to pray wholeheartedly

Hi,
You should only pray as the Spirit leads you to-that way you shouldn't be able to condemn yourself for not praying for certain things just right.
Maybe you could pray for children instead, for example, to help those who are in broken homes, etc.
Just ask Holy Spirit to lead you as you pray.
I pray for you, that God will help you find peace and happiness through all the hurt that has been done to you. It is so hard to bear sometimes, so I pray He heals your soul and brings those who have hurt you to repentance and conviction.
The Lord is our avenger, so be sure to leave this all in His hands.

Thank you Annie, I do see what you are saying, so I will definately take your advice, but it just troubles me is all, I can feel the spirit moving me to pray for broken marriages also, I guess thats why it bothers me to pray for marriages because I dont think that my faith is where it should be, I really feel like God is dealing with me on this matter, maybe he wants me to see something in my own life, I dont know, but, I want to honor God and be able to pray wholeheartedly also, I will stop praying for marriages until I get whatever it is off of me in this area, I mean my heart goes out to people it really does, but from now on if I think uuuhhggg when I look at one, I wont pray period. God bless you and thanks for the advice, and the prayer, we are fine now, I just hate to see others going through it, because I know exactly how it feels, thats all. be blessed and thanks again

Hello

Ask the Holy Spirit to intervene and remind anyone who is having difficulty with marriage that not all marriages are perfect and they are ONLY perfect when they centered in the love of Jesus. If they have difficulties 4 magic words heal all marriages...."Honey, I love You".

You know what! You have a Great Ministry,
You can relate to these people cause you have been there, you know what it means to hurt for your marriage.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you.
You are person who will stand in the GAP for marriages, Today most poeple don't stand for what is right and even some of the christian churches seem to take the easy way out when it comes to fighting for MARRIAGES, FAMILIES, TEENS falling in SEX, SEX outside of MARRIAGEs Maybe they are affraid they might Dirty I don't know.

You are Blessed to be called to Pray for Marriage.
