lonely, depressed, ready to give up!

I know that there is power in prayer, and that God allows things to happen sometimes to wake us up. I am recently divorced and still love, need and want my husband to be with me. I am so alone without him...I don't know if I can make it. I was married for almost 30 years. He is a good man but not to me. God can change him. I know he can. I am 46 years old and had back surgery 10 years ago and a double by pass on my heart in may of 2002. I am afraid to be by my self. Please pray that God will help me.

Evelyn,
I will pray for you. Stand strong in the Lord. He will bring you through this. I will pray for your husband's heart to be changed, but I will also pray that you will see that you can make it on your own even if he doesn't come back. I am struggling in this area, too, and I know that fear of being alone. My marriage is falling apart. God will give you strength. Seek him. One thing I find, too, is that if I praise Him and focus on Him and pray for others, I feel better. I hope this helps.

Dear Lord, help this woman to STAND, help her to take one step at a time she needs you to hold her up with Your strong arms, Lord, She doen't know if she can even go on. Lord, let her cry out to You. Bring people into her life who will stand by her.
