Lord, please watch over Nikki. Let her know that she is loved and cared about. Send down the Holy SPirit to comfort and protect her. Keep her free from worry, spiritual, emotion and physical pain.

I didn't know where to turn either and the answer I kept getting was to turn to "Him" so I wrote you on my prayer list and asked God to show he's listening... in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, there are times that we feel so alone even though we are reminded by folks that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We read about footprints in the sand and read how when we look back at the times of our lives where see only one set of footprints that it is because you carried us.
I know from personal experience, however, how all of this can sound like abstract and empty words when our hearts are in agony. I know how people who have no idea what we are going through can seem to carelessly throw such phrases around.
But You, Jesus, *do* know what it is to walk in our humaness even though You are God, and when *Your Word* gives us Words of Hope there is gravity and substance to them! As Your servant Paul wrote,
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin.
-- Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)
When Your Word promises us You will never leave us, Jesus, there is power in those Holy Words! Promise our friend this, Lord, and show Nikki in some tangible way that you are walking with her through this valley. Clearly Nikki needs Your reassurence. And when You answer our prayers - for we know that You will - I pray that she will return to this board with a prayer of testimony of Your greatness and faithfullness.
Thank you, Faithful Father, Faithful Jesus and Faithful Holy Spirit, for walking with us in our darkest hours. Just as You give us faith as You walk with my wife and I as we await you to bring our kids back into the fold, we trust that You will do the same for Nikki.
Bless Your Holy Name, LORD! In Jesus holy, precious name! Amen!!!
