please pray that the Lord will move in my life and my marriage. i feel very tired. it has been a long road. tonight i feel very sad due to lack of understanding, arguments, etc. i have tried for so long but i am feeling very tired again, very very sad. Father please some into our lives. change this situation according to your will, it sould not be this hard. it should not cost so many tears. we are not doing something right! please pray for us. thank you!

thank you all for your prayers. they are so encouraging. something so strange happened last night. i bumpped into my ex. life, huh? just when you are feeling most vulnerable! today i feel confused, filled with memories, questioning what i am still doing here, wondering when i will feel truly happy in my heart. but, in the meantime, i thank the Lord for your prayers. God bless you!

October 18, 2004: Beloved, pick yourself up from the last round of attacks from the enemy against you. Those assaults were designed to demoralize you and create doubt and discouragement. And, yes, during this same time I also was bringing correction that will ultimately release you from burdens that I did not give you to carry. And, as you wonder about how to tell the difference between what the enemy is doing and what I am doing, says the Lord, look at the result of your dilemma. That which unburdens you and sets you free is of Me, says God, but that which brings guilt, darkness, and further bondage is of the devil. There is a vast difference in the work of light and that of darkness. Step back and discern the difference. Resist the darkness and yield to the light.

It is very important to discern what is from the Lord and what is an attack from the devil. You can do that by lining it up with the Word. Would the Lord bring an ex into your life and have you leave your husband for an ex? Would he go against his commands on how a wife should love her husband, how her husband is sanctified through a praying wife and bring someone into your life and tempt you to cheat on a spouse? I don't say this to be accusatory or anything, just that when something happens, we MUST question it, we must line it up with the Word. The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His promises are for US, HIS CHILDREN, and so applies lining up situations that happen to us today. I challange you to question this "coincidental" meeting. I challange you to line it up with the Word and see where the Lord is releasing you to be with another man.

I was watching the presidential debates last week and something President Bush stated hit me, and I don't want anyone to misconstrue what I am saying here, it was just a way the Lord revealed something to me. Kerry made a reference to something, I think it was healthcare or something, and President Bush commented that he was using the "ol' bait and switch" That is to bait voters and then when he becomes president, he will switch what he is saying and what he is going to do. As I was responding to you, bait and switch, bait and switch, kept going over and over and over in my head. That is what the devil does too (again, NOT equating Kerry with the devil). He baits us with something and then BAM, switches. He is baiting you right now, with something that looks like it would be a simpler life, a life with not as much pain or questioning. A life of peace and love and contentment, but I am telling you, you bite, the devil is going to switch this out as fast as you can blink and you will feel blindsided.

I KNOW how tempting that is, FC. The devil knows just where you are weakest right now and is trying to play upon that, allow the Lord to pour in strength, and He will give you all of your heart's desires and even MORE!
