Lord, I confess....

Lord, I confess I do not have compassion for John Kerry. I don not like his attacks on our President, so I do not like him. I have been believing for and am convinced of Bill Clinton's salvation. But I don't feel like this for Kerry. Why? I know he is hopeless lossed. He is delusioned. Quoting "faith withoug works is dead," when he IS NOT in support of what the Bible teaches about the family and so on. He needs You. I know all this. But where is my compassion? Oh, dear Lord, humble me. Help me to pray for his salvation with pure motives. Not for what he can do for this country, but because he is a soul that would burn in hell. I pray that You will remind me "There but for Your grace goes I." Dear Lord, I want to pray for him, but I have just felt cold hearted toward him. He has nothing that makes me warm to him.... I don't know what it is. Is it just not Your time for him, yet, or am I just out of the Spirit? Lord, we NEED to pray for his salvation, and I would like to repent and turn from my wicked ways. I would like to be faithful to pray for him EVERY DAY to come to salvation. He needs You as bad as I do. For any day that I do not seek You, I am saying I don't need You. And I DO need You. I pray Mr. Kerry will see his need for You, too.
Save John Kerry, Lord, and his entire household.
In Jesus Name, I pray for forgiveness, Father, and for a release to pray for him. Amen.

Lord, soften my heart. It is just hard for me to want to pray for this man. Or to know how.... Do I think he's beyond hope? Or what?

Dear Lord, please save Senator Kerry and his entire household! Bring about situations to convince him of his need for You! Dear Lord, he opposses everything I stand for, but that is not why I pray for him. I pray for him because You are not willing that ANY should perish. And I would not even want my worst enemies to burn in hell. (Shudder 
!!!) Lord, whatever You can arrange, to bring him to repentence and salvation, I pray for that. I pray for his heart to be touched and softened by Your love, and for him to come to his knees in humility. I pray he knows every knee WILL bow some day, and I pray he bows NOW, rather than later. Save him from going to hell. Bring him into glorious relationship with You. And help me feel this and mean this, Lord. In Jesus Name, I pray, amen.

Lord, we are supposed to lift up hands without wrath or doubting, and pray for all men everywhere. It is hard to pray for John Kerry, because right now I am so busy praying he won't be elected. But, Lord God, lead me to pray for his salvation. Give me wisdom of how to pray. Put words in my mouth. And I will also pray in the Spirit (tongues), which is praying the perfect will of God. I pray that You will save him. I pray that he is not beyond your reach. There is something about this man.... Lord, humble him. Remove his arrogance. He is so self assured in his anti-family values, sees nothing wrong with supporting such things.... Dear Lord, change his desires. Cause him to desire righteousness. Cause him to desire You. Give him the WANT TO to find God. Dear Lord, be continually working on this man, to bring him to salvation. Thank You for bringing influences into his life to influence him for Jesus. I ask, Father, in Jesus Name, amen.

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. We confess our faith in You through Yesuah/Jesus Christ the Messiah. and ask for forgiveness for our sins. We thank You for Jesus, our High Priest, and boldly bring Senator Kerry and his family to You in prayer. Although it appears they have little need materially, we know there may well be spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. May they know Your presence very near and real -- as Your Holy Spirit draws them individually to assurance of salvation through faith in Your Son Who has paid the sin debt for all who believe on His name. Be to them Savior, Comforter, Physician, and Guide as they know the love of God through faith in Yesuah and are able to share that love with each other, the country, and the world. We pray that their eyes are opened to the Truth that is firm against promoting alternate life styles and a woman's right to choose.
We thank You and praise Your name, dear Lord, as we are gathered together on the internet, in the name of Jesus, to pray for this election and the spiritual condition of John Kerry. Please reveal Yourself to him in a very real way and an abundance of Your peace to the whole family as they are each able to trust in You. Give divine guidance to any who minister to the family. May Christians they meet demonstrate Your lovingkindness. We pray in the name of Jesus -- Thy will be done in the lives of candidates and in decisions to be made in the upcoming election, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Thank you for the prayers. I must admit I am still struggling to pray for this man.... I feel a discerning about this man, about his current state, anyway. But, whether he can be saved, God knows....
Oh, Lord, please do not let what I feel get in the way. You are not willing that ANY should perish. Even if this man does seem to embody everything wicked and evil, does not mean you can not reach him. Dear Lord, have Your will with this man, with NO INTERFERENCE from the devil or from my weak prayers. Do EXACTLY as You wish. Perform EVERYTHING necessary to bring this man the chance to hear the Gospel. Lord, just move into this man's life and have YOUR way! YOUR WILL and YOUR WILL only be done! In Jesus Name, amen!
