God has been showing me for several days that he is calling us to increase our Faith, to grow, to become the Saints he wants in these end times. He is sending many new believers to us, and those new babes will need help in learning His ways, so this is a teaching thread also. He desires to see us grow, he is concerned that many have not had their prayers and requests answered. He has given us his plan for Salvation and for living out the life plans he has for us. Unfortunately, many of us have sought him for our needs, yet financial needs, healing needs, etc. have not been answered yet.
These are the scriptures that tell us what to do, how to do it, and to build our faith. Romans 10:17 "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." So therefore before we undertake anything, we need to seek Him. FIRST!
AW...I especially wanted to mention this to you. God is showing me that we need to pray His Word regarding everything that is happening. First the concern/problem/request then the scripture that pertains to it, and God's promise regarding it and then Claiming it and calling it done then Giving Praise and Glory for the Answer to Pray. He is telling me it is the job of the Saints to do this, so that number 1. It WILL get done and number 2. That others can learn this awesome gift of His Word. It is very important for this time in our Nation.
This is What God is showing me:
1. Make your requests known to God (Philippians 4:6) "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
2. My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea4:6a) We need to learn his ways. Therefore we must locate the Scripture that talks about our concern/problem/need and use it. If we do not know what the scripture says about it, then how will we know how to pray?
3. Claim the Promise. (The why, basis, reason, scripture, that assures us, and shows God that I/we know why I/we should have this.) II Timothy 2:14 Study to show thyself approved of God. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” ALSO see II Timothy 2:22 “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart”
4. Believe the WORD! I John 5:14,15 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS WILL, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”
5. Give Thanks to the Lord. Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let your request be made known unto God.” I Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
So the following is an example:
The problem or request: Heavenly Father, I am in dire financial need. There are more bills than we have money to pay, and there is no food. Lord, I call on you for help in this time of my need.
Why or basis I can ask for money: Lord I am pointing out to you that Your Word in Philippians 5:19 says that YOU shall supply all my NEED according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Your Word also says in Psalms 146:5-7 “Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keeps truth forever; Which executes judgment for the oppressed: which gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the prisoners:”
I believe your Word : Father, these are Your Words, and I believe them and accept them as truth. If you have said it, then I know it is truth. Therefore I have every right to ask and receive this gift from you. I am your Child.
Thank God and Praise Him for the answer to your request: Thank You Lord for hearing and answering my Prayer. You are an awesome God. Lord I am so thankful for all you do. I am so thankful that you saved my soul, I am so thankful for all you have provided. Lord I raise my hands before you and praise you. I sing your praises. When my brains tells me you don’t answer prayer, I thank you that your Word says you do. I do not and will not listen to those Words. I praise you Lord for providing all my need according to your riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Psalm 28: 6-8 “Blessed be the Lord, because he has heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices and with my song will I praise him The Lord is (my)their strength and he is the saving strength of his anointed.(me)”
Please to all of you reading this....do not think for one minute that this is a “formula”, nor is it “manipulation” or an “absolute” to get what you want. Our God loves to answer Prayer, and he answers our prayers every day without this, he answers SOS prayers daily, and many others. Our God, is wanting us to grow, and to learn and to recognize if we are praying wrongly, and that is why He has not answered our prayers. He wants us to know him and to seek him and to love him and adore him and spend time with him. The time is short. Christ Jesus will be returning soon. We need to know His Word and Who he is, and what he cares about. There is much work to be done in his Kingdom.....we really need to get to work.
In this thread, feel free to ask questions, (someone will probably know the answer and be able to show you in the Word, how it pertains) Please take some time and begin to Pray this Way. God is showing me that he wants New Testament Churches, where he works in Power. Let us learn, practice, pray and grow for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, attacks have come in the last couple of days regarding ammunitions in Iraq. Lord, we know this story was known months ago, and yet CBS was planning to air it right before election day. It would appear that this is a political attack with no foundation.
Lord, I come claiming the Scripture in Proverbs 26:2(NAS) "Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, so a curse without cause does not alight." Also Numbers 23:8,9 (NAS) "How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? And how can I denounce, who the Lord has not denounced? And I see him from the top of the rocks, and I look at him from the hills; Behold a people who dwells apart, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
Lord I read your Word and what I believe it says, is that false accusations that have no basis will not land on or affect the person the attack was against, and that this Nation is separate from all the others.
Lord this is my Prayer...That this false attack will not settle on our President, and that America will be set apart as your Nation.
I Praise you Lord for hearing and answering prayer. Psalms 28:6-9 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Jaunita Bynum had a word. She said your tears and crying all night long won't move God, but the minute you say, "Bu Your Word says...." he nods to the angel who was waiting and tells him to go with the answer.
The only thing I would add about the money needs, The Word says we must be giving God his portion in able to be blessed.
