To say smart remarks or not about halloween

I was concerned today in how I was to respond to people when they talk about halloween. And then I asked Jesus how I should respond when people start talking about halloween I was going to say smart remarks such as, yes this day helps remind me of how satan is defeated and crushed under my feet or I dont worship satan and this isnt my holiday or satan isnt allowed to come out for one day from under my foot and wont allow him to for his one day of glory. See I already had all these awesome come backs for when people talk about halloween and this is when Jesus spoke to me this: He said he is not in the religion business but in the soul saving business.In other words hes not into all the do's this and thats hes completely devoted to saving one soul that is lost. This is the very heart of God.

I pray we all have this heart and breakthrough the religious tides and bondages in ourlives and just rest in focusing on one single soul for Jesus God Bless..

I used to celebrate Halloween in full style, but since becoming a christian I prefer not to join in the festivities for it is nothing but a pagan holiday. If you really wish to know more than private message me and I'll let you know about it since it was part of my past which I was ashamed of and forgiven by our Lord Jesus.

When someone says "Happy Halloween" to me I just shout, "Praise God" in reply.

I say we choose not to observe halloween. If someone wants to know more, they ask.

I agree with this.
I think most christians would soil their pants if they had to give away some sweets on Halloween cause Halloween is so evil.
If you go to a Halloween party and witness to lost people and they get saved then wasn't it worth it?
This reminds me of the pharisees and the sabbath...
I think we all have to get rid of this legalism.Me included.

I am not saying to throw Jesus down there throat I meant when a coversation may come up about halloween to you in your family or something or friends. God showed me he is not into religious speaking and trying to say the exact right thing or good come back when someone asks a question.. He is into saving souls this is where his concern is and looks past the spirit of religion inot showing them his love and peace. See you can be a living Jesus where people see him in you with your light without saying a word. I love to do this by the gift of laughter he has placed in my life. When something with fear or anything of the devil comes up I laugh real loud as though sounding off a shofar in the spirit letting the devil know he is defeated.

i have no smart remarks .this day is as any other to my family. most people do not see this day as you and i might. but tell me what you do when it is almost pushed on our kid. my son came home from school with a note. aking if my child could listen to scarey sounds while he read. and even though my son knows why we dont celebrate this day, he wa told that if he couldnt stay in class and hear this he would have to go to the lunch room. he couldnt join in the pizza they were going to eat or anything. my response of course i they wont let you bring your bible stories but you can listen to this. o i kept him home. the school calls to find out why he is out , i tell them, they tell me OH No we do not have halloween parties. anyway my point is halloween is pushed down our throats more than anything we could ever say to anyone about why we dont celebrate this day. i do think we should say something. easter int about rabbits and christmas int about santa claus.and i have no problem telling people why we dont celebrate this day. as my eight year old says, this is the devils birthday.
