I didn't see a post for praises yet...but I agree that it's a great idea! So here we go.

Looking forward to hearing about the moving of God's hand in your life. He really DOES answer prayer!!!

Peace,

Great idea! Did you know that there is also a praise list as well? It's kind of cool to check that out sometimes. It gives one a new perspective. Hope you are enjoying you day off? I start school next Mon. for in-service. Our HS is finishing up construction this week. I am excited to get into my room, but I am not looking forward to the small amount of time I will have for prayer and for this site, but I know that God is working in my life in ways I haven't known since college. Praise Him! He is wonderful!

I praise th Lord for the new anointing on my life. He has baptised me afresh with the Holy Ghost and fire!!! Even though thing's are difficult in the natural, this new sense of His presence, tells me everything is going to be okay.

Praise the Lord the church sent money to the eye doc to cover the entire exam cost and cost of glasses, so now I will get about $190 credited back and will be able to get bifoclas with a little money to spare.

Praise the Lord for my driver's pemit!

Praise the Lord for all the confirmations He is giving us--all the Holy Ghost "coincidences" He is lining up on our posts. Someone will mention something and--bam!--someone else comes right on with the same idea. Someone prays something, and another person says "I feel the Lord is telling me to do such and such..."--just what that other person prayed! This is so powerful and exciting! God IS on the move!!!

Praise the Lord for all my anointed.net friends and family!

I have a praise report...

I thank God for sparing my life (just a sign to me that God still has things here for me to do)

The other night I was not feeling well...so I came here into the spare room to check out the site. I spoke with Drey via instant messages. I told him I was not feeling well and I needed sleep. I was VERY sleepy. I left the spare room and went straight to my bedroom, leaving the spare room door open (something I NEVER do). I laid down and I tossed and turned...I tried and tried to sleep, but could not. I laid there for hours wide awake...I had been so sleepy, but I just could not get comfortable. I looked at my clock and it was 4:33AM!!! I decided to lay on my couch (again, something I NEVER do!). I laid down and as soon as I did I heared a crackling sound. I could not tell what it was nor from where it was coming from. I got up to see if I could "detect" it...in doing that I noticed my spare room door open (a pet peeve of mine), and being somewhat "anal retentive" I went to close it. As I was pulling the door closed I saw a spark of light, and an extension cord that was plugged into something had caught fire. I was able to extinguish it before it reached anything flamable.

Had I been asleep...I probably would not be here to type this post. My smoke detector battery is dead.

God's divine order and God's divine timing worked in my favor that night, as I am sure it always will. Just wanted to share what God did for me.

Here's a praise!

For the last couple of weeks I have been praying that at least something will work out in relation to college. From day one, everything that has had to do with it has not worked out at all. This weekend was orientation and it all went smoothly. Today was the first day of class and those went well also (even though one has me completely freaked out). Now I am glad that I stuck to it, I know without a doubt that this is where God wants me to be. I think that satan was trying to keep me from coming.

Thanks to whoever prayed,
Jessica M.

Thanks for sharing, guys! Also, to praise God for: We just had an awesome prayer session in the general chat room. Join us next Monday at 6:00 P.M. Pacific Time. We just whizzed prayers back and forth (after we were done aruging and laughting). Anyway, PRAISE THE LORD!, it was cool ! Right Talena?

Lauren called my room this morning to ask if she could borrow a novel. Until now, she's sent two word emails...but only in response to questions I had to ask! I took the book over, and she actually wanted to talk about it some...but I was in a hurry. So God got me out of there...but she was willing?

I emailed her to find out about how she was dealing with a situation on campus...I've been having a bit of trouble, but I just wanted her take on it. She ended up writing me a long email, telling me about what she's teaching...and what isn't going well. And asking to know the same about me.

She didn't know about the situation I was talking about...but she ended up emailing me later to say she had learned the same information in her team meeting. This is the first time she has come to me for ANYTHING in 9 months...or written just to share information.

I'm going to still keep my distance for her and let her approach me. But WOW!!! Keep praying, you guys

Talena! Praises that God kept you safe!!! Did any of your stuff get damaged?

Damascus

Posted by: talena

Demascus... NO, NOTHING was damaged. Isn't God amazing?

JeriRose... We did have a wonderful time in the chat room, after the miscommunication". I had to leave suddenly. I am sorry about that, but I had a visitor. I can not wait until next time.

Drey... you're welcome!

I just want to praise God and thank Him in advance for blessing me with a wonderful job. I want to thank Him for blessing me with reliable transportation, also. I love the Lord and HE is the source of my supply, and I praise Him for that.

I WILL BE BACK SOON WITH MORE PRAISE REPORTS!

Talena thank God that he was there with you and you are here to talk about it. I'm so glad you're okay.

Ya know something like that sort of happened to me when I was a kid but I rarely thought about it as a miracle until now. In 1983 there was a big snow storm in NY right around Valentine's day and I was 10 years old. My dad was digging out his car which was covered in at least two feet of snow. I was cold so he told me to sit in the car and turn it on so I could have heat. Since the exhaust had no where to go it went into the car and after a few minutes I passed out from carbon monoxide poisoning. Had my dad not opened the door to ask me a question I might have died. I was rushed to the hospital and here I am today. I don't usually think of my self as worth a whole lot or special but I must be because God told my dad to open the door and get my attention and it saved my life. Praise the Lord.

Damascus I'm happy that Lauren is starting to talk to you again. It's better that you let her initiate that's what I did when I had a problem with my friend. Good Luck. God has helped me so much this summer with getting over my obsessive thoughts and I'm so glad he is helping you and everyone on the board. I really hope though that he helps Jan and fast.

God is great isn't He. I thank Him for saving talena and for opening doors for Melanie with Lauren.

I also had an experience like yours Erin. When I was in college on the week before Thanksgiving I got terribly sick. So sick I couldn't even leave my dorm room the day I was to leave for home. I was to the point of praying "why Lord why is this happening". It wasn't long after that that my roommate called me and asked me not to leave for home yet because he had just been in an accident. A few minutes later I felt great, like I was never sick. When I saw the car I knew why I had been sick, I was supposed to have been with him that day and in the wreck someone had hit him in the passengers side so hard it shoved the door into the passengers seat. Had I been with him I would have been seriously hurt or killed. God saved me that day, and I have never questioned him about my being sick since.

These really belong in the "Praises" forum...

But here we go...

Due to my increased expenses in August I was unable to continue helping a friend who had been helping me and depending on me for some small amount of money to purchase food. My friend still continued to help me as much as he could.

Even with all that was going on in his life, he still remembered how I turned him on to God... and how I taught him not to "blame" God for his mis-fortunes, but to accept them as trials or lessons. From never going to church, I got him going every week, and in some weeks - every day!

My friend (Rolly) is beginning to see salvation! A friend of Rolly's (Yawron) who has helped my friend survive recently. The two of them were invited to a nice restaurant... free invitation! It struct me that as I am not able to provide the money my friend needed for food, God found another way to provide.

This is but one of the signs that my friend is starting to see, as he is being turned on to God!

I almost drowned as a child, because someone swam into me and knocked me under the water and I couldn't swim (the lifeguard never noticed me go under). I prayed a one word, prayer, "Help!" Next thing I knew, I was standing straight on my feet. I know an angel was there! Another time, I stepped out into the street and heard car breaks squeal. When I looked (I was wearing a hood scarf that obscured my sight out the side), a car was within inches of hitting me. Another angel!

Talena, we are trying to do another phone call on Monday. Check with Drey1. Thrusday, we will be going into the chat room around 6 PM Eastern Time.

First of all 1. I thank God for meeting everyone here on this "annointed prayer site" 2, My oldest daughter stopped over the other day, our car insurances are on the same bill, I mentioned that the insurance is due, she just picked up the bill and took it with her as she left!!? maybe she will help me out this time and pay it!!?? my sweet, lovely daughter is also a tightwad, so this would definitely be from God!!!!, 3. I feel encouraged by prayer lately, I'm beginning to see where God WILL provide for my needs (like "rent!" due NOW!,

THOSE LITTLE "COINCIDENCES" SEEM TO HAPPEN ALL THE TIME! TRUE CONFIRMATION THAT GOD IS PRESENT IN OUR LIVES. GOD IS GOOD!!!

I just want to say a praise to God. Another of the jobs that Keith applied for in Germany with civilian employment with the military came back that he is not eligible to apply for that job, that he doesn't meet the requirements. Thank you, Lord, for closing those doors. Please pray God will continue to close doors for him getting a job there.
