while here they will not start a religious war over personal belief.

Moderators will try and help Jerry touch as many for Jesus as they can.

There will be a forum just for moderators to discuss how to use the board better etc.

Moderator Functions
FORUMS

Moderators have the ability to do the following functions.

1. Close Thread. Prevents further replies to a topic or thread. This is done if the thread is a duplicate, if there is nothing constructive to be said on the current subject, or if a thread has been moved to another forum. As an example, threads that are trolling for people to respond will most likely be closed.
2. Move Thread. Moves a thread to another forum more suitable for the current discussion. This may happen in the middle of a thread if the discussion has ventured off-topic.
3. Delete Thread. In the most extreme case, this function completely removes the thread or post from the message board.

CHAT

1. Move chatters to another room involuntarily.
2. Kick or boot chatters out of the Chat room.
3. Block Chatters from participating in Chat.

General Guidelines for Moderating

Moderators have their own guidelines too, in addition to the rules above.

1. Don't close or delete threads or otherwise secure people you don't agree with. Rather than censoring a post or chatter you don't agree with, reply with your own constructive counter-argument / criticism.

2. Don't delete threads. Use the Close Thread function instead. Threads or replies should only be deleted if it blatantly goes against the posting guidelines. Use your judgment.
3. Post a notice when moving threads. If you feel that a thread belongs in another forum, post a notice before you move it so people know where to look.

4. Commit to participating at least 7 hours a week. Try to review all the new topics posted for each day in the forum you have been assigned to moderate. If you feel that you can't keep up with this schedule, just let us know, and you can be moved to a forum with less traffic - or more moderators can be assigned to help you out.

5. Take part! Just because you are a moderator doesn't mean you can't take part in a discussion. Try to facilitate a discussion.

6. Report violations and action taken. Report anytime you take action for a violation of the Terms of Service including the following information: Offender handle, Title and URL of discussion or name of chat room where offense occured, offensive statement, action taken, and any additional comments.

7. Be an active part of your local church. The accountability and fellowship that comes with being involved with a local body of believers is important, don't forsake the gathering together of believers.

8. Be above reproach both on and off the community. As a moderator, you will be held to a higher standard. Refrain from participating in behavior that is considered scripturally immoral and/or illegal.

OUCH!!!

Father, I stand here for Jerry tonight, he hurt his thumb and I know how much that hurts! In the Name of Jesus, the tissues, bones and ligaments of Jerry's thumb are healed by the Blood of the Lamb and must get in line with the Word of God that says healing is his! The pain is removed and replaced by an ease of movement that proves the healing. AMEN! Thank You Lord! Thank You!

Thank you Jerry! I am truly honored. Salvation means so much to me. I have unsaved family members, and friends. The thought of anyone going to hell hurts me deeply.

I would rather be in breakthrough than any forum. But, the bottom line is, this is a huge responsibility. Do I have to literally read EVERY single post? Can I please get rid of duplicates, then? I think something was said about that up above. The other day someone had posted the same request about five times. I was thinking of opening each one and telling them this was against the rules, but I didn't have time.

I usually do my work after 11:30 P.M., simply because I close a lot, like I will be tonight, at my job. But my shcedule is so messed up (those "flexible" hours), that I have to in at 9 AM next Tuesday. So, my sleep schedule is horrendous, and I just am not sure what to do about the fact that these midnight hours (I am often up until 5 AM or later, usually on anointed.net) are burning me out.

I really do want to be a moderater, though. Just give me some encouragement. Seriously, do I HAVE to check every single new post, every single day??? Some days God tells me to take a rest from my computer. What then?

I see breakthrough is taken. It didn't seem to be, when I came in this thread. Sorry.

I guess that leaves "Salvation". I will do it if you still need someone. I was not aware of this thread, becuase I haven't been a line a couple days, due to needing to get some anti-virus protection. Now, I have some, praise God, and it's FREE!

Father, give each one so much of Your Spirit that they thirst for more requests to answer just to bring Glory to You!

Give them a hunger and thirst for the things of God that makes every other desire pale in comparison!

Give them strength for the task and faith in the outcomes!

Build up their Faith and bring them so far into Your Presence that they never look back to how they used to be on this day!

Carry them when they do not know how to pray and cover their mistakes with the Blood of Jesus and forgive them of their sins so that You can hear their voices clearly and without hinderance!

Bring them to Your Goodness daily so they can repent and cry out to You for that forgiveness!

Cover them with Your Grace, Mercy and Favor!

Place on them the robes ofyour Righteousness, the mantle of the Christ and the mantle of Intercession!

Bless them as they embark on this new responsibility and bring them to Praise and Worship You at the very foot of Your Throne as they bring the Glory to You in their prayers!

Thank You Father! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit! Thank You!!!!!

As JG,shawn and Jan continue to assign moderator positions let those who have been picked as moderators continue to daily keep up are assigned areas we are moderating in. I check back often in the healing thread even if it says I am offline to see if someone has posted a new prayer and I try to go back and answer where there are no replies to prayers. Just a suggestion but if we moderators stay on top of the areas we are assigned to almost every prayer that is posted will have a response from us staying on top the prayers that are posted in the forums we are moderating God Bless. I think this is what JG has in his vision as well. As long as we are led by the Holy Spirit all will be well.

Just a small note:
If you have to pump to get the anointing going instead of it just flowing then you are trying in your own strength to accomplish what Jesus is really wanting to do. When you are in your calling or assigned post the anointing will flow without you having to pump it into motion.

Then, here is the catch-22: Time alone with Jesus is the only way to stay in the anointing. So how to devide that with time on here? I like Prayerbear's idea: tithe 10% or your day to time with God. The rest is then to use how He leads you. Not that I always stay faithful to this, but I try to give God the first 2 hours and 40 minutes of every day.... except when I stay up till 5 AM or later, when does my day really begin?

Just a note, from this warrior to all moderators: time alone with Jesus is the only way to stay fueled for the job on here. I used to pray two hours in the Spirit, usually with the site open but not at the computer, then I would post, and such anointing flowed, then I would pray an hour or maybe more in the Spirit, again, with the site open but not at the computer, then I would post again and so on.... I was on unemployment, then had a few little training shifts at that time (sigh!!!). Anyway, without letting Jesus fill you full of Himself, this is a task too great for anyone. Remember the scripture where Jesus said virtue had gone out of Him? Well, when we pray on here in many threads, virtue goes out of us, too. That's why we need a constant refueling from Him. As one Pastor said "Jesus went from one place of prayer to the next, with miracles in between." That's my aim and goal.

Anyhow, I sense that all of You seek Him regularly, so I am really glad that you guys are moderators.

I'm not trying to wimp out. I just get nervous that maybe I can't keep up. I've been on here five hours and only posted in seven or so threads. What takes me so long? It must be all the reading. I read EVERY prayer, if time allows, that others have posted, so I can be repraying and agreeing with their prayer.

I usually pray in the news forum and in threads about world events like Iraq and the Presidential ones. Is there a forum moderator for those areas?

It is like your church.
You are the pastors of those areas.
As you see people post
you have the ability to email them and ask them how
things are going.
if you encourage them to come back and post an update

Try and keep the affirmations, prayers and questions
on the board.

I have a hard time concentrating (I bind that!) and I am illiterate as far as knowing how to make my computer work for me sometimes (I bind that, too!), but I will respectfully submit my application. You may put me wherever you want to, and I will do my best, if you will allow.

Church is my favorite subject, so I usually do that seven days a week, in one way or another. (I feel like I needed to tell you this up front.) However, my membership is not with any one building in our town. Is that OK?

If this conflicts with anointed.net, that's OK I understand. I still like it here and will come as often as I can....Thanks!

Dear Chris

You are so right.
If you go to the area assigned and answer the prayers the impact in heaven will be great. But it will be greater in Hell. Every answered prayer is a Victory for Jesus.

This is the secret that was hid from the angels.


EPH 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

we have

We have access to God by faith.
We can be donfident
We can be bold
To come to God to push back the powers of darkness

Every prayer is heard
Every prayer is powerful

You do not have to see the answer
God see's the answer
and that is what counts.

I pray you moderators try and answer the first page of prayers every day.
That is only 25 prayers.
Even though you have prayed for them before it never hurts to keep praying till the answer comes.

You will be making friends in heaven forever.

prayyior or Loyd-Ann has been promoted to moderator and warrior status in the news rooms.

The news room is one of my favorite places because it lets us know what is going on around the world so we know what to pray for


BTW guys I really think it would be a good idea if you at least tried to answer at least 5 or 10 prayers a day in the area you are appointed to.

Think of it like a hospital and you are checking in our your patiences.

I'm sorry I never made it on at all in the last 24 hour period. Man, it's been crazier than you can know since I was appointed moderator. So, look out devil, 'cause I'm getting in my fighting mode!!!

Anyhow, thank you so much for the vote of confidence, Jerry.

I did not post in five to ten, because my computer did some wierd shut down last night and I was too tired to deal with it. Today, I just wasn't home, with work and errands to run and the couple hours I had a break, I needed to lay down so I wouldn't keel over at work. (I ended up working a split shift). I'm that tired. Zombie like.

Could all you moderators pray for my kneck (MY ENTIRE BODY!!! )? I fell off the crates we use as a chair at work, and now my neck is giving me all these problems. It's really sore just now, making it hard to type.... I could barely do my mopping at work, for various body aches and pains. Then, dumping the mop water, I banged the bucket on my knee, which has already been a problem knee and now -- youch!!! We have stairs in the new apartment, about fifteen, and some days it's hard to maneuver them. Not trying to be a downer, but I HURT. I've been standing for my healing for a long time (started with migraines around the age of ten). I need some Aaron and Hur type people to hold up my hands in this batle. They call it degenerative joint disease, but Jesus is the Name Above All Names.

Kristin, AW, Ninababy73, Maszoo, faith rising, Carol, and anyone I missed, congrats, and I will be praying with you all for us to have an extra anointing for the task ahead.

Thanks for the prayers, Nina! I know there's power in the prayer of agreement, when we are gathered in His Name. I had just commented to my niece how my kneck felt less stiff than earlier, then I opened this and saw that you were praying! Whoohoo! I just put two and two together!!! Awesome!!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, too. I'm on here all the time, anyway, so I don't know why I worry I'll have to post all these extra prayers .

Say, did you hear Rod Parsley preaching on money, and us rising up and being soldiers and getting out of debt and so on? WOW!!! Posted some on it in the Gas Money thread. He's coming on TBN at 7:00 A.M. my time, or about a half hour. I am hoping he will preach more on this. I need to write Paul and Jan and ask them to make his program an hour long. Anyhow, he said, "I'm not being nice today! I'm in a prophetic mood!" I had read your post about Creflo Dollar preaching with FIRE in the Vertically Challanged thread, and it reminded me of Rod Parsley's sermon. It was HOT!!!

Lord, give all us of warriors the strength and anointing we need to do what You have called us to. I count it an honor to pray to You to see Your purposes fulfilled in the earth. I am so glad to be in Your service. Make us strong and wise soldiers in the battles You call us to fight. And give us wisdom so that we don't fight battles we aren't called to. I pray for renewed anointing each and every day. Teach us to seek Your face, that we may be full of You, that we may minister to others. I love You, Lord, and may we continue to partner together from now into eternity! In Jesus Name, amen!

Lord, I ask that we who you have given this responsibility, will seek you humbly and speak your Words to the Glory of Jesus. Give us insight to know what is the "real" problem, or what is the "real" solution, or what it is you have for us to do. Lord, speak through us to Your Glory, and protect us in our private lives. We claim the Word that You will make ways where there are no ways. We claim that into our lives and the lives of our families and to those we love and are responsible for.

Thank you, thank you! I finally belong somewhere! Yes! Right at Thanksgiving, too! That will be an easy anniversary to remember.

I thought all night about whether I could do it or not - seemed like all night. We are celebrating Thanksgiving here tomorrow, so I will be back soon and I think I will begin in earnest here as I find resting periods.

P.S. Remember the days when there were like 30 posts even in a week sometimes? You, literally, could pray in every thread. Now.... whew! That's why I get so daunted now. It's like "Where'd all these threads come from?" I tried to keep up with the acceleration of threads and just couldn't type fast enough or stay up long enough or something....

Sorry I haven't been on here quite as much since I became a Moderator. I mannaged to miss Jerry's announcement by less than an hour and was gone for a couple of days. Then things got a little crazy here at school. And to top it all off my computer has been acting up

Thanks again! I already called my husband. I am so excited! I am not intimidated, I feel set free! Whether I do anything right, or whether I do anything wrong.....at least I won't be sitting on my hands! I can play! Isn't this silly? We could all play before! I guess it's cooler because our names look different, ha!

The only thing I wish was that I could start right now! I just finished cooking two pumpkin pies and one pecan pie. Now I've got to clean and cook the bird, and my house is messy! Busy, busy, busy. But not too busy for God. I am so scattered.....

We are also covered with snow right now. God is good. I pray everyone's families get where they are going OK, in Jesus' Name....Amen!

will you please pray for some of the people in the Salvation Room

Simply enter prayers for the first two pages.
That will only be 50 prayers.

I want to see your heart and passion for the lost and for souls and for prayer.

You have no idea how much of a blessing it is to others when they read these prayers.
So praying off the board does not work.
I have discovered it is the written word that works

Wow, Jerry, I wondered why so many prayers I put on here have gotten answered. It just totally different than when I used to pray alone in my prayer closet or even ask others to pray. I have had such awesome answers to requests I've entered on anointed.net! I listed them over in the "Give Thanks to the Lord" thread. I am a writer, so I should know the written word has impact. It's like once the prayer is posted it's EVER before God. I like to think it's on His "bulliten board."

Anyway, since I know the pryaer requests I've posted on here, I know what answers are coming. Whoohoo!!!

The healing room is like a hospital.
You have to make vists to your patients every day.
You have to check up on them to see if they need any more prayer.
You have to have the compassion and faith to see them through.

People don't come here by accident
If you are hungry for the Lord to use you
If you are hungry for more faith
then this is the place for you

The lesson you will learn in the healing room is tremendous.

Is there anyone out there who will pray more than once for these people
Is there anyone out there who will check up on them
Jesus had compassion
Is there anyone with compassion.

This is much larger than any hospital
this is eternal

Dear Lord, send the needed moderators, as many hands make the work light. I prayed in many prayers, but as to checking back, PMing and so on.... Just so little time to do it all. I am praying for better hours at work, as in probably a new job. These "flexible" hours mess everything up, so please, please, please open my eyes to a job that's out there that I can get to with better hours and hopefully better pay. I REALLY, REALLY have the desire and vision to this and do excellent. So, wherever I am just being lazy or whimping out, show me. Make me sharper, more alert, better organized, whatever it takes. Help me to remember what needs I prayed in (I do write them down) and to remember to check back with the people who posted. I know many don't even come back on this site, but our prayes can still touch and reach those they requested for or they themselves.

The work can seem overwhelming, but You know how I love to pray, and the many ways I have tried to come at this, to get the most possible prayers covered and continually prayed for -- like I used to keep lists of the people in for each type of need, then I kind of let that fall.... I would pray over the lists each day. I want to get that going again.... Help me to know how to go about it, most succesfully.

Praying is the GREATEST call any Christian could have. We can do it no matter where we are, no matter what we're doing. The Spirit can be praying in our spirit 24/7. We can do it at a moment's notice. We can always be ready. It is not something we have to plan out and schedule. We can be a "house of prayer" -- be praying 24/7 wherever we are, in all things we are doing. I pray that we will be going that regarding the prayers up here on anointed.net -- "carrying them with us," everywhere, and praying for them continuously.

Daar Lord, I want to be more faithful. You know I wish I didn't even work, so I could be at this every moment possible, but I DO work (because if I don't work I can't eat; even Paul the Apostle worked). So -- what to do? Please lead me. Give me direction. What is it YOU want me to do? You know I am dissatisfied with the hours at my work, as stated above. I do not want closing shifts, which makes it so I want to stay up on here all night, then, I sleep fitfully all day until I get up to go to another closing shift. But then, some days, I go at 11:00 (as today), so it's all messed up. I claim a better job, in Jesus Name!!!

Lord, I know we ALL need help in this endeavor! The spirit is willing, the flesh is weak. I pray we may die to the flesh more and more. I pray the junk will be burned out of us. I pray I can be like Todd Bently, who dwells in Your Glory (so it was reported to me) 24/7. Or Pat Holleran, who sees angels 24/7 (or what is going on in the heavenly realms). You know I so desire this. Whatever stops me, whatever stands in the way, whatever distracts me, MOVE IT OUT!!! Again, I lay on the alter! It is almost 2005 and I want to go into 2005 alive to You and dead to me. Bring me into the throne zone continuosuly, 24/7. Let me ignore all the voices of the world shouting for my attention. They clamor for my attention relentlessly. Your voice is Still and Small.... So hard to hear, unless we still ourselves to listen. Oh, Lord, help us to LISTEN. Help us hear YOUR heartbeat!!! Not the beat of the world. The beat of the different drummer, is YOUR heartbeat....

SOULS, is what You care about! Dear Lord, SAVE souls! Jerry is right! We must pray for SOULS!!! I have let down in the "salvation" forum. Dear Lord, help us to stay faithful to praying for souls. I remember having a "salvation" vigil and no-one hardly joined. I took extra hours. You see, souls are not that important to Your children. But YOU came to seek and to save the lost!!! Oh, Lord, we are so far off on our prayers. We DO pray amiss!!! "Give me this, give me that, bless me, Lord, I pray...." When we should be giving the money into ministries that care about souls!!! People are dying and going to hell!!! Do we care? Not hardly!!! Oh, Jesus, what You went through to save souls....

And we sing "Jesus paid it all," and preach that we can be rich based on that idea. Rich? For what? To consume it on our lusts? Oh, Father, break our hearts for what breaks Your heart!!! Please, please, please, let us give our money to ministries with eternal returns!!! Those that will win souls!!! He who wins souls is wise!!! Let us be wise in where we give our money!!!

Dear Lord, so much more I could pray, but I had best go minister in some prayer needs. I had best do the work I am called to as a moderator.

Strength, peace, compassion, joy, effectiveness, love and fervency to all the modertors!!! In Jesus Name, amen.

I try to pray for people as it helps me to truly appreciate all that God has done for me and my family and it helps me to feel like I can help make a difference in other peoples' lives. I hope that my prayers help others and I hope that maybe my words can comfort someone who feels frustrated and intimidated by the events in his or her life. I know it helps me to know that someone else has experienced what I am going through and that they survived and how it came to pass. Jerry, you know some time ago, we talked by phone and I mentioned about having a heart for being put somewhere with healing on this board. I have been praying for Brendan's healing for over 24 years... I still believe God can heal him, even though he seems to be sleeping more and more and more.
I don't think I would do well in news, or politics, & you and I Jerry have discussed why via pm's.
I don't know how often I would be able to get on, but I would as much as circumstances let me. I can't promise anything above this. You know I have a heart for God, and love to pray for God's people and those needing Him, saved and unsaved.
I know there are times I have bumped heads with people on here, but it has not changed my Love for Jesus, and walk with Him and God, or the help, guidance and comfort of the Holy Ghost. So I ask for you to pray about placing me somewhere on this board Jerry, and if the answer is yes... I will do the best I can as my life allows... and if the answer is no, I respect that decision too. I would not have been here as long as I have, if I did not love those here, and think of them as family~ God bless.

Sometimes very few will click on the link on the home page that takes you to the prayer room for those articles. You have been faithful but few others.

For me it get frustrating to see so many on the site and so few praying for the kids or for the revival marines or the video for the africa revival.

I'm glad you reminded me about the Africa video. I have not watched it, because most videos I have tried to down load, take about a half hour (well, maybe not the Viet Nam vets one... ). It seems to be the ones people link in that take long to open. Well, not all of them, either. I don't like to wait a half hour for videos to download, when I could be praying during that time. But I can post a prayer in the thread, even if I haven't seen the video yet.

My Dear Friends:

So the load is not so heavy I am praying for about 10 moderators in each of the major prayer rooms.

That way each of you only have to answer 5 or more prayers in each of the rooms you have been assigned to and almost everything will be done.

Because so many people fall through the cracks I am praying the Lord will allow us to part of His safety net.

Please pray about clicking on the second and third pages and praying for those people also.

I really believe the priorities should be
praying for those who do not have a reply
then praying for those you have not prayed for.
Just because one moderator has prayed for a person does not mean you don't have to.

Remember the word says "it is where two or three are gathered Jesus will stand".

Also we should Private Messaging and emailing some of the people to see how they are.

Most of the people who come here don't know or don't remember where they posted their prayer.

So some of you will have to be gentle and teach them how to pull up their profile and see their post.

That way they can always respond to the prayers they posted.

I know this will be a learning curve but I promise it will be great.
As some of these people you have been praying for get touched by the Lord your heart will break forth into joy.


I also want to thank all those who are not moderators and have been praying so much and no one really knows them. Hundreds of you have prayed thousands of Prayers for so many. I just want to thank all of you.

Almost all churches and ministries are counseled not to have an open Prayer Board like this because you never know what people will say. That is why the other prayer boards don't last. You have no idea how many times those boards are shut down.

It is because of your prayer and support we can keep this lighthouse going.

I would gladly be a moderator in the Soldiers Prayer Room. I definitely have understanding of that lifestyle as I am a former military brat, former military and former spouse. I can relate greatly with what those who may be in there are dealing with, especially in regards to having loved ones deployed to places such as Afghanistan, Haiti, Bosnia, Iraq, Korea . I would also offer myself to serve any other places you feel I would be most helpful.

Father, I come before you and ask that those who have a burden for souls to offer themselves up to be used in the service of GOD so that more may come to know you and be saved thru acccepting Jesus Christ, your holy and precious son as their LORD and SAVIOR. HELP Pastor Jerry find those that will fulfill the needs of moderators so that this great ministry can continue doing all the work for YOUR GLORY Father, so more may come to you and be saved. So more of your lost children can come to know you again and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ so they may return home to you when you call them. Father, grant Pastor Jerry the insight to use those that are offering to help and place them where they may be most useful to this ministry and serve you where they are needed.I ask these things in the name of thy beloved and precious son, JESUS CHRIST. Thank you for replying. I DO appreciate that.That is some of why I was upset, because a reply such as this, would have helped me.
Brendan has not been taken away from us, it has been suggested that he could be. The reason for that was due to day services not being set in place, which was not my fault. This has been done now though.
The fact remains, there has been nothing done, where he should be taken from us. We do have a lawyer working with us, and more than enough proof to show he is being well taken care of at home.
I thank all for the prayers for Brendan and our family. I would ask that my family here pray, that Brendan remaining in our home be OUR decision, & not be taken from us.
We believe we HAVE found a home though- PRAISE GOD, and it is within our budget, & the landlord seems willing to work with us. We will also have a double car garage,fanced in back yard, patio area, and in a good neighborhood. We don't HAVE to have a 3 bedroom, because of Brendan sleeping in the living room. It is a nice home, well taken care of and maintained.
Thank you all, and God bless. It is time to see Bren again, as I have been tied on the phone being put on hold for over an hour, while waiting to have our phone company correct a $200 error! *ouch* But it DID get fixed- thank You God above!

The Warriors are the Highest level of Partnership and Leadership we have here. I will be trying to meet personally with the warriors twice a year. There will be areas on anointed.net Warriors can go no one else can go. They will eventually have access to all my person lessons and messages.

I will have a place where we can Chat and pray for one another and learn together.

"Mail Call"???? is this something I missed on annointed; I actually stayed away a whole day; my church was having the first night of our CHRISTmas play and my soon to be (step) daughter was performing; It was awesome to see such a turnout. the entire sanctuary of the church was filled. they even had to have people direct traffic in the parking lot.

Anyway, look forward to hearing what this "mail call" is all about. hope everyone is having a good day. take care and GOD BLESS.

I was wondering if you have appointed any new moderators; so we can know who to ask for help and help each other out and support as needed. An updated list of who is over each area would be appreciated; thanks so much!! If you could also post our responsibilities, and your expectiations of us again, that would also be helpful to us who are "newbies" in moderating. Hi there,
When asked to be a moderator I was really surprised. To be honest i don't know the first thing about it, i'd guess that it's an overlooker to ensure that responces are correct, not hurtful in any way and to report abuse. Moderator or not, i love this site and it's great to be used by the Lord to both be blessed and to help others. It's a 24hour access to the Lord and His body when we need it and that is soooo like the Lord.
God's Will be done and i give thanks for computers, moderators and prayer requests and for whoever initiated this idea and for Jesus without whom this would be nothing but a chat room of moans. We thank You that it is so much more than that. Amen.
