StarChilde's family EVICTED

I am asking for prayers for our family. We have been having problems with our landlord doing anything with our home, which we are renting for a price which they should be EXPECTED to live up to their obligations as landlords. They have been acting more like slumlords. We wrote a letter to them and sent it by certified mail, of a list of things which needed done with the house, including both things they had told us that they were going to do, and also things needing done, as being unsafe, and even violating building code for this town, by the things wrong.
Their response, was to send us an eviction letter. We have until December 31st, to be out. We have done nothing wrong. Our rent has always been paid and on time. Please pray for God to give us wisdom in what we should do, where to go with our family. Thank you & God Bless.

Lord God, I pray that You will show them the way. Make a way where there seems to be no way. Since this house is run down, any way and the landlord's won't fix it, I pray they can get a better place to live. Open up a door for them that no man can shut. I pray You provide quickly! Thank you my sisters~ God's blessings to you both mightily... it has been quite the past year... this will make the 5th time we have had to move since Sept. 2003.

Sometimes I get to feeling overwhelmed, and cry
... one thing, then another... and another and another....

Sometimes I just laugh... because all the enemy throws at me is not going to make me say there is no God. I am not bowing down to any image that the enemy is trying to say of me, anyone in our family, or any situation in our lives.k


But always inside I rejoice, because I am saved by the Blood of CHrist Jesus, a child of the King, joint heirs with Christ, the head and not the tail, because I was made in the image of God, and all that God is, is inside of me because I am His Child...
so glory and praise to our Heavenly Father, who loves us soooooo much.... so very much my brethren.

Lord I lift this Mighty Woman and her family up to you for provision of a good roof over their heads soon Lord, Father when your son Jesus came to this world and all the inns were full you still provided Just as I know you will in this situation, You never fail Lord to take care of your own. Thank you Chris for the prayer. It is a bad time of the year to be evicted, but I know God will see us through all of it. The rotten thing was evicting us, just because we asked the landlords to make some home repairs.
I am praying we are able to get the agency that helps us with Brendan round up some ppl to help us move, because we cannot afford to pay anyone to help us move. last time we moved it cost us close to $500 by the time all was either rented,or gas put in vehicles, and everyone paid.
You find out who your friends are when you have to move.

This may be a blessing for your family. Take this time to find a new place for your family.
The landlord may not be the owner of the house and he may not have authorization to do repairs. Or the house payment may be the amount of the rent or even a little less, leaving no money for repairs. Either way, the reluctance of this landlord to repair and upkeep the house tells you something. Look into buying a house. A local real estate agent will have a list of repossessed homes which you can get for little or no money down. Sometimes the amount of your mortgage payment can be less than rent! PLUS you can claim property taxes and interest on your income tax- something you can't do as a renter!

Dear God,
Please help StarChilde and her family find a new home. Please align her with positive, helpful people who can assist her in finding decent affordable housing. Please send an angel to guide them and send people to help them pack up and move. Please give this family the strength to see this mnission through. Please help them to know that sometimes things happen for the better and this, too, shall pass. Thank You,

Thank you for the prayer Sharyn. It is a blessing in that it will allow us to get out of a house that the landlords will not do upkeep on.No one wants to live in a home where the landlord doesn't fix anything.They do own it, & the payment of rent goes towards a lien on the house, to pay another bill they owed.
We should not have moved back in here, as we lived here last yr. for 6 weeks, when circumstances forced us to move back home. During that 6 weeks though, there was not enough time to see that things needed repairs, because our little girl was very very sick, & everything needing done, we was not as concerned with the house. Plus they had not made all the promises to us last yr. that they did this time. We had to move back into our home, as the sale did not go through by default of the buyers, we could not afford two house payments. Plus at that time,it was neither hot enough to have to run the AC, nor cold enough to run thr heat at that time, so we did not know how well the house stayed cool or warm, or how efficient the heating was, or how well the AC worked. Neither does a good job in keeping this house warm or cool, without high and excessive bills.
We do not want to buy a home right now. We just sold our home in August due to the repairs it needed was more than what I originally bought the home for. Also our family doubled in size, and it was not big enough. We are working to moving out to Colorado where my immediate family, except my dad whom I barely see anyhow.We do not want to buy a home due to this, plus I am on disability at this time and cannot work. I know the mortgages can be lower than rent, as our mortgage was only $150 a month in the home we owned.
We will be on a housing program faster because of this eviction. There will be a home for us, it is just the moving when we just moved, and the cost of moving. I know there is something wrong with this house though, because I have woke up with headaches every morning since living here. There is something wrong. THAT was only part of the reason we asked the landlords to fix things. The things wrong are even against local housing code for rentals. We plan to have this house inspected, as the landlords should not be allowed to rent a house, that is not up to building code, it is not safe. We should not pay what we do for rent, to put up with all the things wrong.
