I worry to much. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions on how I can get the victory. I've been believing God for healing of my kidneys for over a year. I pretty much do all I can to get the victory over worry and receive my healing. I'm a Prophet, intercessor, worshipper and I witness everywhere I go. I spend between 2 and 6 hours a day in prayer and am faithful to read my bible. The point being, I'm about as on fire as you can get. However, I have yet to see my healing manifest. Well, lets just say that I need to see this come to pass soon. God has given me the gift of faith to believe for this, yet I still worry. Do any of you have any suggestions? A word from the Lord might not hurt either, thank you and God bless!

I'm not saying that you don't do this but for me - The more I learn, the more I realize how important it is for us to speak God's Word, to praise and worship the Lord, and really believe His Word (make it a heart thing). When worry, fear, etc. comes "capture every thought" and replace it with the Word. Gloria Copeland has an awesome ministry in this area. I bet the enemy trembles when she starts speaking the Word - I can be like that too because I'm God's heir and entitled to the same authority as she. In relationship to praise and worship, Psalms is so cool - who says to the lightning go, and it goes; who put thunder on a horse's neck or a spring in the ocean - God. Wow!

I'll pray for you, too.

Dear loveisall100, i am praying for you that God will deliver you from worry. Whenever i feel that worry is coming over me, i always tell the worry 'bug' that the buttle is not mine its the Lord's. Our Jesus is above everything. There's nothing impossible to Him. Trust in Him and await victory in Jesus' name. I then pray and ask God to send down the holy spirit to guide me through whatever area that is making me worry. What Ericsmom suggests is also what i do sometimes and the spirit of fear and worry deminishes. Keep praying God will surely deliver you. God bless you.

Dear ddblueeyes,

This is one I have done some battling with in my life. I am however coming to see a pattern in my life. This life can really test our faith at times and trials come to everyone in one way or another. But when we put the Lord at the helm, you can be assured that you can witness his hand in your life, supporting you through your trials. You know the scripture that talks about that "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose;" that is a really powerful promise. Whatever happens to you the Lord will see you through, and he can turn that experience even into a blessing in your life. I have had some health problems in my life. I have also been healed of certain health problems. But the experience I gained while I wasn't well has helped me learn more about compassion. I'm grateful for that, even though at the time I was not very happy with being sick or very patient about it. I know the Lord has had a hand in my life, because he's answered my prayers. Maybe not always the way I would have liked or thought, but perfectly. He is a God of miracles and we can trust him perfectly to see you through all of your worry and fear. I have some concerns right now I am dealing with. I have some things that have helped me. I pray and leave things in the Lord's hands, then I do what I can do that day to the best of my ability. I read a talk once that described that process as "walking to the edge of the light." It's like you take a step out in the dark as far as you can see, then the light moves out just a little further and you receive direction and then repeat that process. At night I have insomina a lot so if I'm going to lay their and not sleep and worry I try to read something inspiriational until I can. Or I just lay there and pray. It has been a blessing for me to pray for others because then I can think and pray concerning their problems. But more then anything else, I ask the Lord for his help with this problem. I tell him I desire that the following scriptures be applied to my life, because it is a problem. I know he has helped me with this. I'll pray or you to.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deut.31:6

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Tim.1:7

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask thee that you would bless this person in their life according to their needs both physically and spiritually. Bless them with Thy spirit to come in and take away the worry and fear from their mind. Bless them for their faith and righteous desires. Comfort guide and direct them in all things they stand in need of, in Jesus Name I ask Amen.

Sometimes i feel led to say things that are hard to say and sound "harsh", please know that i do so with a loving heart in hopes not to anger you but to help you with your struggles.

I have and do many times fall victim to worry.
About two years ago i was even up calling the police at night thinking someone was in my house, i lost 10 pounds just from a week episode of anxiety on more then one occasion. This is a very serious problem, and one that comes down to what we believe.

Being a fellow worrier I know that you must think often and deeply about the "what if's" and such...
As very simple as it sounds is really just as simple as it sounds....
Believe that God is a GOOD God! This doesnt mean to live with the naive notion that pain and trials arent on the path ahead...they surely are! God doenst offer us a life free of trials and tribulations, he offers us His Hand to hold along the way, and the assurance that He will work out ALL THINGS for the GOOD of those who LOVE HIM.

This means facing some hard facts: perhaps the worst will happen to you, perhaps even this may be your last evening on this earth...perhaps you wont pay your bills this month, or even wake up tonight with the flu..worse yet perhaps your husband will leave you or your closest friend might betray you...
we live in a crooked fallen world, and evil lurks around every corner, and is a constant threat. these are only just a few examples of things one could find to worry about

Sometimes what helps me to do is to think of it as a battle. Satan doesnt have my soul anymore, i am no longer a slave to sin .... but He sure does plot against us all to give us the grief he wants to give us forever while we are alive on this earth...
Dont be lied to, everyday is a mystery and this life is hard and arguous and painful.... GOD KNOWS HOW HARD IT IS< HOW SCARY THE FUTURE SEEMS< HOW SAD AND WORRIED WE ARE....
He tell us to Trust him, to lean not on our understanding, but on the understanding of Him, a man who already died went to hell in our place, lived the most perfect life anyone has ever lived on this earth and still was hated, despised, plotted against, torchered, and killed. He's had it far worse then you or I, and on top of that took the sin of ALL his children .... he tells us to Trust in someone who has been to hell and back, and made the skin you live in and the air you breath...

Worry is one of my biggest enemies, thats when i must open up the Word, bow to my knees and ask God to forgive my crooked understanding, my lack of faith.
So silly for me to worry about tomorrow and the what if's when God already has heaven awaiting me if I should die... Isnt life hard enough already to worry about a day that is figment of our imaginations..
God would rather us use that energy we use worrying praying reading preaching singing dancing.. enjoying His creation

YOu are in my prayers tonight, I hope you are not offened by my words.
Be honest with yourself, what questions are you needed answered about God in order to trust in Him more, to give him the reigns in your life and just say...
"here you go Jesus, here's my life... there is truly no safer place to be
Even Jesus prayed this Prayer when faced with the reality of dying on the cross;
" Abba FAther, everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what You will" Mark 14:36

Jesus payed a HUGE price for us, it cost him EVERYTHING to gain something He thought was worthwhile in the end.... Having us, His children, with him forever... what a wonderful and beautiful God we have...
He really truly does love you so much more then we know.
It sounds to me dear, that you are wanting something so badly and trying to obtain in through works... praying being faithful, reading your Bible....etc.
God simply doesnt give us reasons when we want them, nor is He a God to demand answers from.... but he is a God of love. Someone once told me that in this life we try to write a script that will bring us joy, and goodness and abundance..... we try and try and we have a dream and a plan of what WE Think is what should happen...
God can and will most certainly write you a better script then you are capable and instaed of us crying over the loss of what WE want I think the greatest peace will come when we believe that God will take care of our needs without our asking.. not to say that we shouldnt ask.. I wholeheartedly believe in prayer! It is an acknowledgment taht God alone is God ( not us) and that we cannot accomplish all things with our own strength that are in His domain to do. When we ask the lord we must humble ourselves ad lay asde our willfulness and worry, and determine to obey him.

God will answer our prayers but not on account of our positive mental attitudes, other conditions must be met
we must be Christians,
we cannot hold a grudge against any other person
we cant pray with selfish motives
our requests should be for the good of Gods kingdom
( see mark chapter 11:22 )

our prayers are often motivated by our own intersts and desires. WE like to hear that we can have anything. As in the verse above ( mark 14:36) Jesus prayed with Gods intersts in mind.
When we pray we should express our desires but want His will above our own.

All my love to you in Christ
