My husband started a new job and is working out of town most of the time. This is very painful and I miss him. He is only concerned with the money he will make not with our marriage. He consulted his co-workers about which town he would go to but didn't even ask me. He says he is doing this for me but I don't want him to be gone all the time. He will be working 24/7 on call and will not have very much time for me. We have had many years of bad times economically and emotionally. I am extremely lonely. Please pray for a healing.

Father, I lift this marriage up to You praying for Your full touch of healing. I pray for renewed communication that is positive and loving. I pray that this wife will have some Godly friends who will sow into her walk with You. May she always know that she is never alone as You are with You always. If it is Your will for this husband to either leave this employment or to get a job closer to home, may it happen; but in the meantime, may this wife be supportative of her husband working and providing for the household. So be it, Amen.

Dear vpalmer,
It may help if you can see this as a common male error and not take it personally. We want to be with them, and they just don't want to be with us. He draws power from his position at work, and not from time at home.
I know it is hard, and I am so sorry you have to go through this. I wish there was a way to wake men up, but I am not sure they are supposed to wake up.
It is possible that we are to base our lives on our children, our homes, our jobs and our friends. I'm not sure.
But I will be glad to agree with you in prayer.
Rachel R
Lord, I ask you to wake this guy up. Remind him he is married and that he has a wife and a home. Help him love and value her and want to share life with her.
In Jesus' Powerful Name, Amen.

I posted a prayer for you and some words of compassion to you last evening, but today they are not posted.
I prayed for you last evening and told you of my deep care and concern for you.
Please just know that I have asked the Lord now to keep you in my prayers and to be reminded of you so that I wont forget about you.
Your husband is in sin, as you well know and are paying the consequences... and I just hope today that you will find comfort in the Lord, as His hands are always extended and arms open for you.
I wont forget to pray for you, I hope you can at least find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.
My love is with you , In Christ
Holly
I also encouraged you to read the book of Romans, chapter 12 and 8 especailly. Paul is the author of this book and he knew his fair share of loneliness....
again my love is with you

You will be in my prayers.
Jesus I ask You to touch this man's heart, convict him of his lack of compassion and understanding of his wife's need. Father, bring him ever closer to You and also to His wife. Your Word says he is to love his wife as You love the church. Do Your will in their lives.
Amen
