Hurting so bad - DESPERATE

My name is Sheila although I am known as Daneel on the website

I have been relentless in praying for my husband to return home. Although I walked out on him last year and divorced him because of his adulterous affair many things have changed. I surrendered my life to God and have realised what true forgiveness is all about and how the Lord hates divorce. I have been praying for restoration of my marriage for a year now and trusting the Lord to give me my heart's desires and believing that I will receive it. However this past weekend I discovered that my husband had spent the weekend with a lady from his office at the coast and this hit the wind out of me. I am hurting wondering what is going on. I know he loves me and the kids but he is still so full of anger and bitterness towards me for walking out on him. He now doubts my salvation, he wrote me an email a month ago telling me how he doesn't want me back and how he never wants to see me again and I know that this is not true because my heart reveals the truth of our love for each other. I am not giving up but maybe some of you can maybe tell me what and how to pray and that you all will stand in agreement with me for the restoration of my marriage to Neville. Satan is destroying his life more and more and it really hurts so please pray for and with us.

Lord, I ask you to restore the marriage of Neville and Sheila.

I ask you to turn this situation around and wake this man up. Convict him and open his eyes to see the truth.

I ask you to set Sheila and her children free to have a happy and fruitful life.

Wholeness is in your Presence, Lord. I ask you to bless Sheila and her children with wholeness.

Meet their daily needs and fill their hearts with love.

Father, I pray for full restoration to occur in this marriage. I pray for renewed communication that is positive and loving. I pray that they will remember the love that brought them to recite wedding vows before You. Heal and restore them Lord. I pray for full repentance and a complete turn around with Neville concerning his sins of adultary. Work mightily in this marriage, I pray. Amen

I will be praying for you. Adultery is a horrible thing. I know first hand. Our God is a God of restoration. Don't give up. Stand firm in the name of Jesus.

I have been led by the Lord to encourage, pray and support families that are seeking marriage restoration. I want to refer you to some wonderful resources that I know will give you the encouragement and help you need thru this spiritual battle. Erin has a wonderful testimony of how God restored her marriage after adultery and a divorce. The book How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage is a good place to start it is based totally on scripture. I have personally bought and shared over 40 books in the last 6 months with people just like you that are in a marriage crisis and I can see God working miracles in these marriages and families.



Just remember God can turn your husbands heart back to you permanently. The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord: He turns it wherever He wishes. Prov 21:1. The key here is it is not your husbands will but Gods will where his heart should be and it is His will that your husbands heart be turned back to you his wife, because it is what He joined together. God has no desire for your marriage to be over. Remember Jesus said a man shall leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife and the two shall become one flesh, consequently they are no longer two but one flesh. What God has joined together let no man separate. Matt 19:5.



Dont allow the devil to steal your husband. Don’t allow him to destroy your family and steal your future. Satan is the one that wants your marriage destroyed not the Lord, not God, Remember that The Thief (the devil) comes to steal kill and destroy: I came that (you) might have life and might have it more abundantly John 10:10



Pour over the Bible letting Him wash you with the water of the Word Eph 5:26 and remember With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matt 19:26.



My dear sister in Christ I will continue to lift you in prayer. Get the book I mentioned above and stay in the Word.

Father in the name of Jesus move in the behalf of this couple according to your will. Banish all ill-will, hurts and unforgiveness. Blot out every evil thought of the past and renew them both in their minds to forgive and move on. You are a restorer of all things.
