No Longer Abandoned, But Dancing

The child was unwanted
Unloved, abandoned
But He stepped in
Picked up that tiny bundle
And held her close to His breast
He whispered to her
That she was loved by Him
That she was beautiful in His sight
That He would never abandon her
And He watched her grow

She was given away by her mother
Her earthly father had
Long before abandoned her
But He stepped in
And took her hand
And led her to a secret place
Once again, He whispered in her ear
How much He loved her
He held her close
And she accepted His love

She became a teenager
Lost all earthly possessions
Through fire and wind
But a flame had been kindled in her heart
She felt the first flicker of His Flame
The quiet Wind encompassing her
And she grew
And became a mother herself
She tried in her own way
To find fulfillment
To find love, acceptance
But it wasn't to be
Until He stepped in once again

Her husband had abandoned her
But He whispered to her of His great love
And mercy
He promised again
That He would never leave her
He had always been there
Waiting for her total surrender
He wanted to dance with her

Her husband returned
There were still many problems
Her children rebelled
They worshipped evil
Took innocent life
Tried to end their existance
Went to prison
But He stepped in
He began to woo them to Himself
And they are returning one by one

And He is still dancing with the mother
He danced with her as she became a grandmother
He has never abandoned her
He is with her, still
And will dance with her till eternity

What a nice poem! A life story written in poem...it's great! Surely "God will never leave us nor forsake us" Hebrews 13:5
