Prayer Board Requests - My heart is breaking for you.

My heart is breaking for so many of you. So many of us want to please the Lord. So many of us want to do what is right. We ask all the time, "Lord please show me what you want me to do". We hear the song: "I will go where you want me to go Dear Lord, I'll do what you want me to do". Then when it come time for us to respond our flesh rises up in rebellion and says not now.

ISA 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me. 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, .........
In Isaiah chapter 6 the Lord calls us from the throne: "WHO WILL GO FOR US" this is one of the most outstanding statements in the bible. The other is from Jesus: "WILL YOU PRAY WITH ME FOR ONE HOUR"

These two statements shout out: GOD HAS A NEED. And the need he has we can fulfill. The first need is WHO WILL GO AND TELL THEM. The second is WHO WILL PRAY WITH JESUS.

Jesus said "Many are called, but FEW are chosen" After all these years of ministering I understand that now. I want to thank all of you who have responded with prayer and support for this trip to AFRICA. This shows you have heard and are still soft enough to act on what God whispers in your ear. He does not have to shout all He has to do is whisper and you will hear and act because you love him so much.

Now my heart is breaking for those who passed Jesus by. In the symbolism of the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus was the wounded traveler not the Samaritan. Jesus said when you do this to the least of these you do this to me. We have an opportunity to minister to Jesus here.

LUK 10:30 .... A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead. 10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side.

MAT 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 25:35 For
I was an hungred,
and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty,
and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 25:36
Naked,
and ye clothed me:
I was sick,
and ye visited me:
I was in prison,
and ye came unto me. 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, ..........

MAT 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these,
ye did [it] not to me.

This is a miraculous trip to Africa. Don't let the reward pass you by. I was not sure until the last minute if I was going. My normal donors did not give. I said nothing. So I prayed and laid it into the hands of the Lord.

Then miracle after miracle started to happen and half of the budget was raised. A Christian man gave me his First Class ticket for the same price you would pay for a last minute coach ticket. I had no visa and the embassy gave me one in one day. Miracle after miracle it is as if a window from heaven has opened.

But now my heart is breaking because the Lord asked me to share the burden with some of my friends. You see Jesus is meeting the need He just wanted to BLESS some of you this Christmas season. He said Jerry don't horde the reward but let them share it with you. Remember Give and it shall be Given. So please forgive me if I have not done that well.

I just wanted you to see what it meant to Glorify the Lord. After we left Nigeria last time over 4,000 Christians were murdered. Their houses were burned down. Their Churches were burned down. Their ministers were killed. And so many in America think they have it bad.

Don't let this pass you by my friend. If you buy one hamburger in the next month and did not plant a seed into Africa I pray for you. Even a seed of $1.00 is better than no seed at all. Don't let this blessing pass you by. Over 1,000 people have viewed these threads and just passed by. I pray for them. My heart breaks for them because Jesus really wanted to bless them this Christmas season. The very thing they want the Lord put in front of them. Just like the Good Samaritan. But the people who should have know better passed Him by.

Again I want to thank all of you who have entered a pray when that is all you had to give.
I want to thank all of you who have planted a seed into this trip for I know you will reap a great reward. And I pray for all of those of you who are upset with this because all I am trying to do is bless you.
