saved without repentance?

I listened to an MP3 from somebody who works as a prophet.
He said a lot of things and addressed many different topics and one thing he said is that you do not even have to repent to be saved, all you have to do is believe.
I cannot agree with this.
How do you become a christian? By being born again.
You are born again when you repent and turn from your ways. Without this repentance, without realizing your sin you also won't change cause you're not aware of the sin you committed.
When christians simply start to believe and do not repent then I doubt that they'll ever change and produce good fruits. Simply believing is not enough in my eyes. Repentance is essential.
What do you think?
The Holy Spirit reveals our guilt to us, how can you not repent when you realize your sins? If you do not repent then this indicates that the Holy Spirit did not reveal your sin to you.
But why should anyone accept Jesus when he doesn't realize his sin? The sin is what shows us the need for a savior. Somebody who does not feel like being a sinner also won't accept Jesus, why should he? He thinks he's a good guy and God will let him into heaven.
I am pretty convinced that every conversion starts with the conviction of sins through the Holy Spirit.

Confessing a sin through the mouth will do nothing when done only out of shame and guilt from just sinning. Jesus wants your heart to follow him out of that sin into his ways fully. Now thats true repentance. Some will keep sinning over and over again wondering why they thought they have repented by saying they were sorry with there mouth rather than with there heart which God is looking at. Anything that is sowed out of the flesh into confessing will do nothing in repenting from a sin or turning from it. We must learn how to sow from our spirit and from our heart a true genuine repentence from sin in following Jesus as he leads us away from that sin and we then will watch the flesh be crucified daily from repenting with are heart rather than lip service with the lips of the flesh that will be linked to guilt, condemnation and shame which will only keep you going back to the sin by going around in circles from being rooted in the flesh instead of the spirit God Bless.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

See from the heart true repentance will come forth then through the mouth it will overflow into every area of your life and to all who are around you..

Yes.
But repentance is necessary.
True repentance is caused by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

"Peter replied, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children...Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about 3,000 were added..."
Acts 2: 38-41

"And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Joel 2: 32

"You will be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard....Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away calling on his name." Acts 2:15,16

"Sirs what must I do to be saved? They replied, Believe in the Lord, Jesus--and you will be saved--you and your household!...then immediately he and his family were baptized...he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God--he and his whole family." Acts 16:31-34

To believe means to obey! To trust fully! Jesus said "If you love me, keep my commandments." He was saying, that if you really did believe in him then you would love him so much, that keeping the commandments would be a natural expression of your love.

Calling on the name of the Lord means that you invite His presence into being, or you come into communion with Him. In the Old Testament God instructed Moses to make an ark of the covenant in which to house his name. The ark was a place where the manifest presence of the Lord was housed. In the New Testament, the manifest presence of the Lord is still in the temple, but the temple is us!

Baptism has a lot to do with salvation. A lot of "New Testament" churches tell you that baptism is merely an outward sign of a change that takes place inside, but I believe that from the scriptures, that it actually has a lot to do with the washing away of our sins!

A lot of New Testament churches use the "sinner's prayer" as the means to receive ones salvation, and then preach at the same time that salvation comes from faith through grace, not by works! There is no Biblical foundation for this prayer. When Saul the persecutor was converted to Paul the Apostle he prayed for three days (wow! some sinner's prayer) and did not receive his sight until Ananias lay hands on him. Then he was baptized and was filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 9:4-19

Praying is not the way to your salvation. Praying is for the children of God, who have already become members of the family through birth (re-birth actually). "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit." John 3:5

Bottom line--you must repent in order to be saved. Repentance takes place in a change of heart. And only our Lord, Jesus Christ knows your heart! The man on the cross next to Jesus that received salvation did not repeat a "sinner's prayer". He also was not baptized. His "belief" was enough!

Exactly!
But some people say you only have to believe to be saved!
I cannot agree with this.
Believing without repenting will not change your heart.
Even when you believe that the bible is real you will still go on sinning cause you have no revelation of your sins.
