Happy Holidays everyone~

May Jesus Christ's angelic touch fill everyone with love, joy and let every heart prepare His room. Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a blessed Happy New Year.

Moreover, whomever has a chance to share their insights about the difference between NKJV and KJV Bible, I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to be reading God's reserved words in a more accurate bible, therefore, I have researched and found mixed reviews about the NKJV bible. Incidentally, I invested in the New Testament bible series along with the revelation from the Watch Word Bible. So far, I love it but I am unclear about certain statesments. Has anyone invested in the same series and if so, please do share your thoughts.

God bless all,
Illuminate

Blessings to you Lorena, and happy holidays!

Personally, I use NIV. I want another version though. I use many different versions. But if you want accuracy, I'd go with the KJV if you have the patience to read all the thou's, thine's and wherefore's.

Greetings Laura~

Glad to hear from you. Thank you for your quick response and suggestions. I will continue reading the KJV because I LOVE the poetic thou's, thine's and wherefore's, lol. Furthermore, I am not sure if you read the part about I invested in the Watch Word Bible, and if so, what do you think? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Many blessings and may He continue to fill your life with wisdom, courage and strength, most significantly, love and peace.

I have the new spirit filled bible, an excellent choice and can be purchased rather cheaply on www.half.com for half the retail price that is the NKJV and I love it. I am not sure of the exact differences but believe it is a more literal translation with all of the poetry. Some of the true scriptural meaning can be lost if you don't have a translation that doesn't monkey arund with the words

PS:
I am considering a mini-NKJV bible to compare with at time of confusements.
