Heavenly Father, I beseech You to remove the cloak of oppression, bondage, addiction, bitterness and contempt from the eyes, mind and heart of Joseph. Reveal Yourself to him and the perfect plan You have for this young person's life. Help him to see You clearly thru all things, that he may know he is not in this life, just by chance. Knock at the door of his heart, Lord. I pray that he will grow increasingly discontent with the choices he is making and the people he is associating with, and will turn to You.
I claim salvation for his soul, deliverance of his sin, freedom from the bondage of drugs and every unclean thing, and a life lived with purpose....to serve You!

May we discover through pain and torment,
the strength to live with grace and humor.
May we discover through doubt and anguish,
the strength to live with dignity and holiness.
May we discover through suffering and fear,
the strength to move toward healing.
May it come to pass that we be restored to health and to vigor.
May Life grant us wellness of body, spirit, and mind.
And if this cannot be so, may we find in this transformation and passage
moments of meaning, opportunities for love
and the deep and gracious calm that comes
when we allow ourselves to move on.
