curses

If a person is cursed due to witchcraft or something else and then this person becomes a christian what happens to the curses? Do they stay active as long as this person directly repents for these things?

I feel unworthy to answer most of these posts as I'm not as knowledgable as some of the others here...but I wanted to try to answer yours. I guess what I want to say is that the power of the blood of Jesus is so much more powerful than any curse. God has promised that if we accept Jesus and repent of our sins, they will be forgotten...so it would seem to me that in claiming the blood of Christ over all that is in your life, that would include any curse...just my thoughts.

Um....
of course his blood is powerful but even christians come under a curse when they do witchcraft for example or when they do occult stuff.
When doing occult stuff as a christian makes you get a curse then why should becoming a christian automatically erase all curses on you?

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I thought that you meant witchcraft that was done before accepting Christ.

That curse is removed with the Blood of Jesus. It no longer exists for that person becomes one with God the Father & with Jesus.

First repentance of course. That has to be the first step. When you do witchcraft or anything of that sort you are giving Satan the right to work in you and when you repent you are taking back that authority you have given him. But the person also have to stop whathe or she is doing that is bringing the curse on or else Satan comes back and twice as hard. Repent, renounce it, and start speaking the right things in things that are right and pure.
