Cool Day with Rachel

Despite the nightmarish calls from Linda, I had an otherwise cool Saturday. Rachel and I first of all went to her brother's church, so Rachel could get food from the pantry for her foster family (Gontareks) Her brother Matthew is studying to become a pastor. He is so much like Jesus. He makes friends with the lowly and takes them around to help them. He is an awesome servant! The minister of his church is an African man from the same country where Pastor Jerry preached, Nigeria! Rachel and I sat in his office and he prayed with us! I told him I was a Prayer Warrior and about Pastor Jerry preaching in his country. He was overjoyed. I then took Rachel and my dog to the Assisted Living Facility and visited with the residents. We had a blast! I used my old 35mm camera to take pictures since my digital one was stolen. I hope to someday post them. I haven't even been able to post my Smokies pictures yet. You can see the pictures from last year's visit already posted. My dog was dressed up as Santa. He will be dressed the same way on Christmas Eve. God Bless You All!
